Im out here in Alaska(air force) trying to keep it garnet and black. How is the team looking? Is anyone buying into corso saying the gamecocks are going to win the division?

as for the Gamecocks, the defense that let ya down last year should be better. the qb situation looks dicey at best, virtually no running game to speak of and the O-line looks soft. But hey... your coach has some nice visors....

i read in the paper yesterday that the QB's played bad. Smelley and Beecher combined for 8 interceptions. thats all i really got to read.

I went to the game... The first half was a sloppy one for Smelley throwing about 5 INT's, and no TD's, and Beacher done pretty decent.  I left at halftime but i seen on uscsports.com that the final was 37-34.. The usual USC comeback in 2nd half

hopefully we can find a 1st half offense before the season
