If we can run a good fastbreak against the Pistons will will have a shot, the fastbreak is more effective than the transition Defense, If we don't slow up we can run the Pistons all day, which will open up the Halfcourt Offense, If we want to beat Detroit we will have to be very fluent, get in a rhythm, and control game momentum

We have a chance because we matchup particularly well against the Pistons, AI and Dalembert will have to play at their best to win. Dalembert will get his 10+ Points but he has to get the rebounds, which we all now he can but he has to be aggressive, AI will have the advantage over anyone Detroit throws at him, He's quicker than Prince, he's bigger than Rip, they can only stop him by Double teaming him, which will open up someone else. So we have to make the shots. Miller has to be our tempo man, Evans needs to do the dirty work, Thad has to contribute, he needs to play big and give the 76ers energy, Willie Green may just have his chance to prove himself. He has to make shots because we're gonna need him despite his inconsistencies.

If all this goes right we will be heading to Round 2, we can only hope tho

Go Sixers baby! Win this series

Yep...I'm really confident about this team

Ever since we started using the fastbreak more efficiently we've been 2-0 against Detroit

Santanasback, you were pretty prophetic on what you said about the series. It turned out that Evans picked up the slack for Dalembert, which he can. Secondly, we made them shoot jump shots in the second half. We didn't allow them to attack the basket as easily as they did in the first half. Maybe that was because of Thad Young's inexperience, but we did make it tougher in the 2nd half. We'll see how they counter in game 2. I did like Young's performance early, but Cheeks must have seen him give up too many easy baskets, so he hardly played after that. Just keep making them work on defense and protect the basket. GO SIXERS!

That was the worst game I've watched the Sixers play in a while and it was still enough...now that the "jitters" (did anyone notice much?) are gone, I think that we will see less mistakes and do even better in the rest of the series.  I think Detroit is too old and tired to keep up with the young guns --eg Billups could get his arms up to shoot foul shots in the fourth quarter...Get Jason Smith in earlier to slow down their oversized guys...a couple less missed layups...Detroits got more on their hands than they realized...Sixers could do some damage beyond this round...
