It is true. I cheered openly for a French Canadian who bears more than a passing resemblance to Jean Claude Van Damme. Although GSP does in actuality what Jean Claude could only do in the movies.
I know I have this thing about New York. The accent grates on my nerves. No offense, it just does. Matt Serra's lips move, I hear Fran Drescher's voice.
Well now that GSP has taken back his belt from Serra, maybe we won't have to hear that accent as much, and we can get back to the real business of MMA in the welterweight division.
