It was a defensive game (which is probably a good thing). Not much happening on the offensive side. One side had 78 yds rushing the other 124 (both approximate). But we did have one running back go for like 104 (Not Patton, but drawing a blank on who it was). It was kind of hard to pay attention to what was happening bc they would constantly cut away for interviews and such.
Defense seemed to play good though. Prince was really impressed with how the defense on both teams played. Josh Cherry hit a 51yd field goal in the 2nd half for the games only score (3-0 white team).
I'm hoping to see some stats posted somewhere to find out specifically what everyone did but haven't found any as of yet.
One concern, we had a lineman go down at the end of the game. Haven't heard the extent of the injury though. We definitely don't need injury's to start off the '08 season though.
This game just made me want football season to get here. At least we have the draft in 7 days..... I'm depressed now.
