Was it a one and done? Or, will UCLA play Texas in Austin, next year? If Texas has all its returning starters and UCLA is without their players that have skipped off into the NBA sunset, it coult be a great game for Texas in Austin. Just wondering.

Please, Mr. Augustin, stay one more year.

Signed,

HookemHornsNJ

With, or without Augustin, the Longhorns look to be a far better team than UCLA next year.

With Augustin the Longhorns should be the preseason #1 team, without him around #10, UCLA should be around #22.

It would be fun to play them each year, Texas is on the way up, while UCLA is no longer the program it once was.

In fact, if Texas were to join the PAC 10, they would win the conference basketball championship 8 of 10 times, and the conference football championship 19 of 20 times.

It would be nice to get an automatic BCS spot every single year. Of course the drop in regular season competition would not be good, as compared to the BIG 12.

If someone like Reggie Bush, or AJ Arrington can rush for 2,000 yds in the PAC 10, imagine what someone like Jamaal Charles would have done, 2,500 yds???? The nubers could be rediculous with a real RB.

It's the Big 12 - Pac 10 rivalry thing.   We were already committed to a home and home with Arizona which is why you guys took on UCLA.   We will play out the second half of our committment with Arizona this year so I would assume you will get to beat up the Bruins again.
