Just wondering what is everybodies favorite KO they have seen in MMA. It doesn't matter if it is a one punch KO, multiple punches, elbows, knees, kicks, slams whatever. Regardless of the reason, whether you liked it because it was so viscious or a thing of beauty what is everyone's favorite?

Mine is a close tie between two different ones:

1.) Phil Baroni vs. Dave Menne, Baroni staggered him with the first punch while they were squared up and then Menne got basically pinned against the fence and ate about 7 power shots dead in the face before him or the referee even realized what had happened. To this day I have not witnessed that kind of hand speed and punch precision from any fight.

2.) Gary Goodridge vs. Paul Herrera, Goodridge instantly got him in a crucifix any elbowed him into oblivion. The best part is when they showed the replay you could see that Herrera was out after the second elbow, but it happened so quick that he got hit with 7 more.

So let me know what are everyone elses favorites.

I have two-

1- Vitor Belfort vs. Wanderlai Silva. This was years ago and took place in the UFC. Fight starts the fighters meet in the middle and Vitor unleashes a barrage of unanswered punches that backs Silva up from mid-ring all the way against the cage. KO happens in like 30 seconds, that was the quickest hand speed I have ever seen.

2- Rampage Jackson against some Japanese guy in Pride. Japanese guy on his back attemps an armbar while Rampage is standing over him. Rampage picks fighter up and powerbombs him completely knocking him out cold.

I have a couple . . .

IFL:  Ryan Schultz vs. Chris Hordecki:  Schultz trapped one of his opponets arm behind his opponent and his other arm under his body and had open undefensable shots at his face.

UFC:  Shonie Carter vs. Matt Serra:  the famous spinning backfist.

Pride:  Wanderlai Silva vs. Sakuraba:  just a brutal shot

UFC:  Yves Edwards vs. Josh Thompson:  Edwards by perfect kick

I have a couple. of course i agree with kidub about the Shonie Carter/ Matt Serra spinning backfist.

Also, i enjoyed the Anderson Silva knockout. i forget who he was fighting. but he caught him with a few good knees in the face while against the cage and the guy was OUT COLD. i watched it about sixteen times. they show it on UFC Unleashed sometimes. but that was a good one.

I have a few, but the first one to comes to mind;

UFC 17- Pet's Williams nailed Mark Coleman with a Head Kick.
At that time Coleman was coming off a decision loss after just sweeping through everyone in 2 of the old school UFC tournament's and followed with a win for the first ever UFC HW title. I don't think ANYBODY thought this guy would get knocked out. Plus it was the first head kick KO I had ever seen (sooo clean).

Still impossible to pick one, so I may think of a few others.

I love the old school UFC fights for what they were.  My first exposure to UFC was watching Pat Smith just ugly pummel some biker looking guy in no time with elbow to fist combos.  Also watching Tank pop the 400lb samoan guy and make fun of him.  Last, but not least watching the flame came on in Remco Pardue's head as he elbowed Orlando Weit into unconsiousness and had to tell the ref the fight was over.
