Sept. 28 BUFFALO Bills (CBS) 3:05 p.m. TBD
Oct. 5 BYE
Oct. 12 at Washington Redskins (FOX) Noon TBD
Oct. 19 DALLAS Cowboys (FOX) Noon TBD
Oct. 26 at New England Patriots (FOX) Noon TBD
Nov. 2 ARIZONA Cardinals (FOX) Noon TBD
Nov. 9 at New York Jets (FOX) Noon TBD
Nov. 16 at San Francisco 49ers (FOX) 3:05 p.m. TBD
Nov. 23 CHICAGO Bears (FOX) Noon TBD
Nov. 30 MIAMI Dolphins (CBS) Noon TBD

Dec. 14 SEATTLE SEAHAWKS (FOX) Noon TBD
Dec. 21 SAN FRANCISCO (FOX) Noon TBD
Dec. 28 at Atlanta Falcons (FOX) Noon TBD

Home games are in caps.

Not terrible. Some tough road games early in the season. Oh well. If you want to be a contender you have to be able to beat good teams on their home turf.

What do you think? Lots of wins? Divisional title? Wild card?

If we stay healthy, 10 - 6 is not impossible.  But to be on the safe side, maybe we should all check with Cheef before we answer.  He is the world's smartest and most athletic golf pro of all time!

Huh. I never noticed that. Well, a big part of that is because of that horrible record last year. But still, the Bears have five (count em, five
) night games this year. What makes them so special? They're a terrible team (they're a terribly boring team).

All of your tough opponents are in the early part of the schedule too (better come out smoking) so it doesn't seem very likely that you'll get any flex relief either. Well, look on the bright side. There 'is' a bright side you know. No Monday night games. At least you can enjoy watching the Rams play all season long without ever having to listen to  Kornheiser or watch an Oprah-esq interview in the booth while the games being played on the field.

I like the "Tweak" week on Oct. 5th...  Helps when trying to correct early problems...  A midseason bye can see you buried too deep to really recover from fixable issues...

I've seen worse schedules, so I'm not overly concerned with that... 2-2 at the bye is easily done if we stay healthy...  3-1 at the bye isn't a crazy thought, may be a little of a reach from a "Who's healthy" standpoint that early in the year...  Never know how those O-Line guys will respond after sitting and rehabbing so long...

After the bye you could make a strong case for 8-4...  Maybe even 9-3 if the ball bounces right...  But health and rust will dictate alot, and thats always an unforseen thing...  As well as buying into the defensive scheme and Al Saunder's offense...  LOL...

And, the big IF...  If we draft well in a couple weeks...  We have holes to fill and they can be filled in the draft with gamers...  Now lets see how we do there and then revisit this topic in like 3 weeks...

Gee, I don't know. The Eagles, Giants and Seahawks? That's a pretty challenging start to a schedule. If they could steal a win in Philadelphia in longshot week it could go a long way toward making their season.

On the other hand week 9 onwards looks like it could be a sleigh ride if they play well.

It's weird seeing all those tough games all bunched together like that. It looks..... imposing.

The early part of the schedule is brutal. Linehan better have the Rams firing on all cylinders early or I think he will be fired by mid season.  If the Rams can at least go 3-4 through the first seven games than we will have a shot at the playoffs.

I will pray for 9-7, but in reality I believe we are looking another losing season.

I will still be there every week screaming at the TV.

GO Rams !!!
