Like three times this week I'v heard three diffirernt people say go Nordiques. and I know people have their old Nordique jerseys and wear them, I have a sakic one and its cool to wear and stuff, but lately I'm seeing them every where, its insane. We are the Colorado Avalanche now, Qbec lost their team because there was no fan base there anymore, they were either Calgery, Edmonton or Vancouvor fans and I know nobody in Colorado was a nordique fan befor we found out they were comin here to Col., unless your a genuine hockey fan that follows players around or somthing and they happen to like Qbec.

Not a big deal just,  anoying I guess. GO AVALANCHE!

I am a Wild fan and that was spoken as a true fan. Way to support your team man. Good luck and what a great series it has been.

agreed. Around play-off time is when the Nordiques jersey wearers should get out the Avs jerseys. I'm a Minnesota fan as well, and I will admit that I still wear my Northstars jersey the majority of time, and they're not even the same team. I personally would be guilty of owning a Nordiques jersey to if I lived in Colorado, but I just think the Nordiques were badass!

How do you feel about an Old Colorado Rockies Hockey Jersey? I thought those jersey's rocked too!

Seriously though, you got a great point.

AVS fans! get out your AVS Jersey's, It's the Play-Offs, Save the Nordiques sweaters for next season!

There's a lot of resentment for the way the big bad Americans keep taking the Quaint little Canadian hockey teams south of the border.  But in the case of the Avs, it was definitely the right move.  Denver is the greatest sports city in the country (on of them at least).  If anything, I think its the class and awareness of the Denver fans who honor and respect the heritage of the franchise.  Either that, or they just like the fleur de lis on the jersey, which looks pretty badass.

Hell yeah they do! That's why I love that jersey! Those around the trim look hard! Nordiques will definitly be my next jeresy purchase.

The funny thing is, I didn't know until 2 years ago that the symbol on the from of the Nordiques jersey was a hockey stick leaning on igloo... It makes sense, I guess I had just never put much thought into what it was...

Even funnier, I didn't even know that the logo on the Wild jersey was supposed to be a bear until last season.. HAHAHAHA I know, I know... I thought it was a wolf or something... Oh well, at least I know now...

Wait..it's a bear? I always thought it was a wolverine...all well.  Oh and my personal vintage jersey even though its a team that hasn't moved, its gotta be the hometown Sabres jersey's from back in the day.  Just because I don't have an Avs jersey I bust it out for playoff time...

Lets Go Avs!

The Nordiques sweaters are badass!  I think it's cool that Avs fans wear the old school stuff, even during the playoffs -- it was the one thing actually worth watching in Tuesday night's game.  I liked the Nords better in the good old WHA days when they played against the Minnesota Fighting Saints at the Civic Center.  Now there was a team that knew how to goon things up the right way!!

Oh well, at least I know now... Hmm.. Do you have this on good authority?  In the past the Wild have been coy about this, simply referring to it as a "wild animal" and leaving it open to fan interpretation.  Most people see either a wolf, a bear, or a mountain lion (all of which can be found in MN).  I have seen it specifically called a bear on sites like wikipedia.  I have also seen merchandise sold stating it to be in the shape of a cat.  In the "FAQS" section of the Wild's homepage, and some other sources, it is referred to as a "wild animal".

taco- Actually I think it was wikipedia that I saw it referred to as a bear for the first & only time.. I forgot that they"re not the most reliabley accurate information source. so there's a good chance that you're right..

Good call!

I do know for sure that the eye of the "animal" is the NorthStar. There to pay homage to our old team, but if even
