I think this will be one of the most interesting off seasons in recent knick history. I know I will be checking the web everyday for the announcement of Isiah's firing as well as the trades that have to happen to turn this team around. I hope I will be as excited about the Knicks this off season as I am the jets. I am looking forward to next fall already.

I agree. Walsh definately needs to start with the backcourt. Crawford should be coming off the bench he is the worst defender at that position. Zach has to go, he is another terrible defender. Would Knick fans approve of this trade, Zach and our #1 pick to the Clippers for Corey Maggette and Elton Brand?  Let's be honest the only sure picks to me are Derrick Rose and Michael Beasley the rest of the draft is potential.  I think a starting five of Marbury, Magette, Chandler, Curry and Brand would not be bad in the east.

Brand is a great defender, rebounder and scorer he would make up for a lot of Curry's  weakness, Magette is very physical at the 2, not the greatest defender but much better than Crawford. Chandler is young, athletic, strong and has some offensive game. This should make Marbury's job so much easier. If this doesn't work Brand, Magette and Marbury would all be free agents at the end of the season that's 45.5 million coming off the books. The Clippers would have 2 lottery picks plus a low post threat whose numbers compared to Brand's are a wash.  Al Thorton makes Magette expendable, the picks could be the fuiture backcourt.

Thoughts?
