Martellus Bennett

From what I have heard it seems like he played last year for him and not for the team.  If this is true I am glad he is gone.  As for, does he deserve it, I think so.  He was our best receiver last year.  I hope he is able to have a long and proserous career in te NFL.

Bennett has the talent, but he is raw.  Unfortunately, under Fran's system, he wasn't allowed to develop.  It would have been nice to keep him another year, gotta leave when the money is there.

Only Stephen McGee played with more passion than Bennett.  In his own words he was "the most Aggified" person you'll ever meet.  Hell, he even surrendered his number to Mike Goodson.  Most importantly, he stopped and greeted my 4 year old nephew at the entrance before a home game.

Oh yeah, I believe the last bada$$ we had on draft day was Ty Warren.

Good luck to Bennett. Sherman would have used him more then Fran, but I guess it is his decision. He has the ability to be a great player in the NFL, I just wish he could have been given a chance to show it at A&M.
