I have lived very close to Greenville, NC in the past and actually followed ECU football for a few years. Took in some Kinston Indian minor league baseball games as well since I am a huge Cleveland Indians fan. I was there when the Pirates hacked the highly ranked Hurricanes too, when the Hurricanes were a national powerhouse year after year in the 90's. I was there when they expanded their stadium when the fan base was growing so large they couldn't keep up and was losing revenue because they turned so many people away from over-sold home games. ECU can become a factor in Conf USA under Holtz. They just need to take some instate recruits away from NC St and N. Carolina now. Joining the Big east will help as well.
