The media has u all fooled about tw.

Tiger Woods would be better off if the media would stay out of  it.  Treat him as they do the rest of the PGA tour members.  Other players wouldn't have to say all the good things they are forced to say.  Many would like to be ask about their own  skills and accomplishments in their interviews,  but the media immediately go to asking what do they think about TW and his skills and records, instead of the player being interviewed skills and records.

How unrealistic of you, ILG.  Have you worked in a school system that has "Teacher of the Month", or "Year"?  Acknowledgement for the EXCELLENT job said teacher has displayed for the year.  Did you get mad when they ran a special article in the school paper on said teacher, and not the rest of the staff who didn't EARN the honor?  Well then why would your cry about Tiger's media coverage.  I think the antis have GROSSLY exaggerated the time Tiger is covered, to suit their theory.  So what if they carry ever one of his shots?  They continue to cover the leaders and challengers to the lead.  How many shots of Trevor's were you unable to witness because CBS was showing Tiger?  How many shots of Brandt's did you miss because CBS didn't cover it?  Every one of Cink's shots were covered when he was ahead and tied with Tiger.  Paul Casey got coverage until his gaffes overtook him.  Tiger was in the top 5 ALL DAY!  You are CONSTANTLY crying about this subject.  If Tiger wins 30% of the tourneys he enters, then doesn't it figure that he gets that much coverage.  Could it be that Tiger gets so much coverage BECAUSE he is in the lead or near the lead. BECAUSE he wins about 30% of his tourneys?  BECAUSE he is the #1 golfer IN THE WORLD?  BECAUSE he is achieving wins at a pace better than ANYONE IN HISTORY?  BECAUSE he has brought more fans to the game.  You guys cry , "that they are only Tiger fans, not golf fans."  That is sad premise to rest your arguements on.  SAD! SAD! SAD!  Even more sad is that I keep replying to the same old crap you are spewing. 

The definition of INSANE - to keep repeating the same the process over and over and expecting a different result.  I am still giving the benefit of the doubt that I am not dealing with stupid people just because you don't care for Tiger, but I'm beginning to realize, I must be insane!

The reason of this back and forth discussion of TW is that you guys can't accept the FACT  that Tiger lost and come up with scenarios ,having him the winner.  The media did play a big role in all the hullabaloo.

Yes I can. Will Tiger more than likely win the next 4 Majors(including 2009 Masters)? Yes. Happy days.

Have you ever thought that when you always see others' points of views and stances but they don't always see yours, that theirs may be the clear ones?  The ones which hold water.  Especially when there are more than one who share the same values.

I couldn't agree more:  "Too much media coverage, bad boy on the golf course."  That is my one and only complaint!!!!  I believe he is the greatest player!!  Not the greatest role model.

He's too old to act like the 17 year old, arrogant, spoiled brat that he portrays on TV.  It's like watching the Leave It To Beaver reunion.  Beaver just isn't funny at 45 years of age.

This is what is wrong with America!!  The normal citizens have to cater to the monority and the deficient.  Why doesn't anyone say, "I don't want to be politically correct!"  "I just want to be correct and screw the feeling I may hurt." 

We as a nation  are taking the Laws of Nature out of the gowth of human kind.  If you aren't very bright, the government will pass a law to protect you from your own stupidity, i.e. seat belt and helmet laws.  If you can't have kids, you can visit the fertility clinic and have sextuplets.  If you are gay, we'll call it a race, not a preference and give you minority status and special benefits.

This rational is ruining the nation.  We cannot procreate normal, Americans as fast as we allow immigrants in to the country.  Those Americans who are currently cheating nature and do procreate, are creating idiots and mutants.  Have you ever seen so many kids in the classrooms who need asthma inhalers and braces, than you do today in any class you walk into?  How about all the other "little" sicknesses and afflictions?

Prior to 1900, it used to be survival of the fittest.  With the modern world the NERDS have taken over.  Just look at Bill Gates.  There is no way that man has a wife and kids without his money.  He couldn't hunt or farm with that feeble little skeleton body.  The nerds are infecting human kind with bad genes, weak traits, and deficient chromosomes.

I believe Jesus has to come again soon, just to save us from ourselves.  We are becoming the global Gomorrah.  We accept everything and anything in a lethargic, lackadaisical robotic way as long as it  doesn't hit in our home.  When it does, we have a hundred and one excuses the media exposes us to at our disposal.  BLAH!!!

With this type of sediment to the elementary school humor of the Beaver,  I would have thought you to find BG's adult humor more suited to your liking...  Maybe you just don't have a sense of humor...I already know you take yourself WAY to seriously!

The media is doing what is best for the whole process and spend their time on what sells.  It's a fact that when Woods is in the field the ratings are about double from when he's not in the field. 

I think the main thing that seperates Woods from the rest is simply his mind.  Yes he can hit shots that no one else can hit but he doesn't have to do that all that often.  I'm referring to190 yard 8 irons from 6 inch deep rough.  But he's the guy that knows he's going to win and the rest are hoping they can win.  No he doesn't win every tournament and no one every will.  But Tiger Woods sells and he lives up to the hype better than everyone else.  What he does on the course is amazing.  But the way he goes about it is even more amazing.  Not since Nicklaus has any golfer captured the publics eye but Nicklaus didn't have today's media following him around. 

For true golf fans this is a guy (like him or not) is someone you can tell your grandkids about watching.  Just enjoy the show.  If you blink you will likely miss something spectacular.  I was standing behind him in 2005 on 16 at Augusta when he chipped that shot in.  IT was my first trip to Augusta and that was the most memorable part of the day.  I was never a big fan of his before that.  But I was sold.  That was a 1 in 1000 shot.  Have a story to tell my grandkids about.  Woods deserves the hype.
