The school should pay the fans to come watch this underachieving team.  They haven't been worth watching since the Eric Crouch days.

I mean listen, we're sitting here talking about practice, not a game, not a game, not a game, but we're talking about practice. Not a game that these guys go out there and muddle through and play every game like it's their first, but we're talking about practice, man. How silly is that?

ok dude... this is the school that produced the two best football teams of all time, in '95 and '71.  the eric crouch years were fun to watch, but mediocre (and frustrating) by nebraska standards... the last few years have been abysmal.  we're on our way back up, and given our track record, i don't care what team you follow... you don't measure up.  so step the hell back.

The thing is those are scalper prices. Face falue on them are $5.00 for kids and $8.00 for adults. And thats all I paid for mine.  All I can say is they should have bought early because the sold out at 65k and then they gave 15k away for promotions.

You obviously haven't been to Nebraska or even talked to a person from the state. The only thing they have is this team. Through thick or thin their fans stick to their team. I'm not a Nebraska fan but many of my relatives proudly decorate their basements with big red decorations and when Saturday games roll around everything shuts down and they're glued to their tvs for every second of the game. The 95 dollar asking fee doesn't surprise me at all, honestly if Osbourn fired his entire team and put a junior varsity highschool team in Nebraska colors and marched them to Ann Arbor or Gainesville their fans would surely follow.

It isn't a joke to the people that care about this team. The bad thing about the asking price is that it's not going to the University of Nebraska, or at the very least some sort of charity. People are making a killing, and I guess that is fair...I mean this is still the U.S.A.

What most can't understand is the level of excitement that the hiring of Tom and Bo has created. It isn't just some practace, it is the first chance to see the return of the Nebraska Cornhusker Football tradition. If somebody wants to pay that much money to see it, and they care that much, I say go for it.

Above all...GO BIG RED!!

why isnt your team on this site making headlines for selling their spring games out? probably because they suck and always have sucked. we have been bad for one year. recently. and we still have 90,000 come out to see. because our team is relevant and people care. aparently you cant say the same about your team.

you are right we as fans shouldn't have to pay to see practice it should be a time to raise the excitement between fans and the team the love not a chance to mooch off the fans. This is a disgusting way to raise money unless it is for a good cause.  Place your own cause here. I can't see this happening at a winning school little less a rebuilding school.
