Here are a few thoughts I thought I should share which I believe are my own.

Yes I believe Kansas State's new coach Ron Prince is doing a good job, in two years if we still have this win/loss record then no I do not believe he is doing a good job.

No I do not believe in the consistency like Bill Snyder had, it is ineffective at the moment as far as my next yes comment you would see why I say no for Kansas State.

Yes I do believe our win consistancy will be 5-7 or 4-6 just like last year but the following year I believe it will be strong again 10-2, or 11-2 it depends on our main star.

Yes I believe Josh Freeman is a great quarterback.

No I dont' believe our O-Line or our jucs will do anything to improve our O-Line we can score.

Yes our defense needs to get better, and yes very soon.

Well thats all I have Wildcat Fans, as far as scoring we can score points obviously, out of 12 games it was at least 25 or more on average, defense although let the offense of our Opponents score 20 or more even when we lost, as far as Big12 N. goes well, KU has the star Reese, but expect him with a harder schedule this year, CU is getting fast although we had their number the last 3 years, NU will be questionable with their new coach, IOWA state well lets hope we get a W this year because of the mishap last year, and finally Missouri who we gave some trouble to but still had a loss 49-32 but we still gave them trouble if you read the article.  Well you see what we are good at and you see what we need to improve on its a yes and a no kind of column if you have your thoughts please post. Thanks everyone.

All good points but I think I will add some things.

Yes we were able to score last year but we lost our really 1 and only reciever.  We have recievers that have potential but we won't have an established one.

We need an o-line for freeman and our running back.  To try and remain consistent on offense I think we really need our o-line to step up.  If we have a good offensive line I think Josh Freeman will take a huge step in his development.  Also. it will help the running game which in turn will open up the passing game.

Our defense will be better this year.  Ian Campbell will go back to his original spot and be able to make plays plus we get some of our injured men back.  As long as we limit the mental mistakes, our defense will be just fine.  The first 2 games of the season we will have a lot of our questions answered.  My concerns really are WR, O-line, and RB.  If those three are better we will be in good shape.  I think.  Good post though and I am really curious to see how many juco's make the team and how many will actually help out and make an immediate impact.  Heres hoping to a great season.

Good point as far as running backs though i thought we had leon patton and johnson as two potential running backs am i wrong or right on that one that is why i didnt mention the running back.

I don't remember which one we have but we do have one of them.  I think it is patton.  The only reason I mentioned RB is because the position was not stable enough.

We should have Patton, I believe he is a Junior and Johnson graduated or at least is out of eligabiility.  I think Deon Murphy could be a special player at WR, and Lamak Brown is a big powerful and fast WR that was hurt much of last year and saw limited playing time.  I think we may shock some people.  Do you remember the name Antwain Moore? He destroyed Auburn in the first game last year and then got hurt for the season in game 2.  He will be a stud at LB add in some pretty good LB's from Juco we will be o.k. on D.

Anyone going to be able to make it to the spring game this weekend? I was hoping I would be able to but my work schedule won't allow it.

The thing i am looking most forward to is the second year in the 3-4 defense.  It was pretty bad last year, but we were also trying to make it work with a load of 4-3 type players. The Ian Campbell-LB experiment is over, and the LBs on the roster(Thanks California JUCOS)  are built to fill a 3-4 defense.  Having Antwon Moore back is exciting.  He reminds me of Troy Polomalu with his ability to blitz and swarm to the ball.  If that Auburn games performance by him wasn't a fluke, I can see this D looking an awful lot like the Steelers D the last five years.  I feel exciting times are afoot in Wildcat Land.

Purple power

I'm am with you 100% I think Antwan Moore is going to make a big difference.  I also think Joshua Moore with help fill in at the safty spot where Watts is leaving.  He played really well his freshman year and I think we will have a solid Defensive Back field and a good linebacking corp.

I can feel purple pride coming back

Purple get ready to roll!!!

josh is a cornerback, he'll be the likely choice to replace mckinney and chandler or sum1 else will likely be where watts was.
