wow wouldn't he be the 2nd Gilchrist to say he's going to go to VT and then go to MD? Well the other one couldn't handle the pressure when he played at the Cassel getting booed everytime he touched the ball. I'm sure he will get booed every time he touches it as well.

Looking forward to kicking Maryland's butt next year and making him regret leaving us for Maryland!

I just wanted to throw in a comment when it comes to VT fans booing former players/commits. In Gilchrist's case, he ditched us. It was a pretty sad decommit and he used April 16 as an excuse.

I remember listening to the VT-GW game earlier this year and Tech fans were booing Wynton Witherspoon. No need for that. If anything, Seth kind of nudged him out the door. Let's not get a Philly fans reputation. I'm not saying we have one, but let's not boo every person who ever thought of/left Tech.

Yea I was at the game against GW and didn't boo Witherspoon. He wasn't going to get much playing time and Seth even told him he may want to transfer I'm sure. He has much talent but not quite enough to start over Washington and made the right move. I liked his game and thought it was bad by a lot of fans to boo him. But Gilchrist i probably will boo. Sean Singletary getting booed was pretty much respect and to try and throw his game off along with Vasquez from MD who really gets stuff in his head easily and you can get to him just from booing and gives your team an edge. I don't think it really affected Sean much tho.

Well, I disagree that booing is bad sportsmanship. I think that is a natural reaction when you are cheering for your team and things the other way, whether it be a bad call, a questionable play, a
