All 6! What an accomplishment. He should stay one more year, if he does, North Carolina should win it all. He is an incredible athlete and his determination takes him a level above the competition. Beasley, Augustin, Love, and Curry all had great seasons. Hopefully they all return next year, but I would be surprised if 3 of them did. Great season in college basketball and congratulations again to Hansbrough.

GO HEELS!!!

dont get me wrong hansborough is a great player but i think he is a tad bit overrated especially wen people compare his heart to michael jordan's his d was pretty bad in tht final four game n jordan brought it every game he played in but yes congrats to him and college bball wil b spectacular nxt year if all of them stay, but life aint lik tht so i'd say hansborough, curry, and augustine stay while love and beasley do what they were born to do which is play in the nba

He got exposed badly in FF against eventual Champion Kansas. He just happens to play in a team with great supporting casts ;  when he plays against big physical players he is choked. Exp ; see the game against KU.

1.  Pg in Ty Lawson ( in the nation out of high school)

1. Shooting Guard in Ellington( in the nation out of high school)

One of best 6th man in Danny Green ( can start pretty much anywhere)

He plays in a team with that much talent so it is no wonder he is good. Let put him in a team like KState to see how good he is ....when averyone just swarms him .

Beasely is the best. It is a shame not to select Beasely.

The exposure in the FF was of Lawson and Ellington -- Lawson's ankle kept him from playing anywhere near his capabilities, and Ellington just lost sight of his shooting touch. If Lawson, especially, had played anywhere near his potential, the debacle against Kansas wouldn't have happened. PG should take over in those situations.

Hansbrough would be a fool to return to UNC next year. I hope he does return, but the only thing left for him is a championship, and he doesn't have any better chance of winning one of those next year than he did this year. Winning the championship requires an awful lot of stars to line up just right (see Lawson's ankle) and you just can't predict it. Meanwhile, I don't think he's going to improve his NBA prospects hugely with another year at Carolina -- maybe a little, but maybe not. Now is the time for him to go.

Hansbrough is a fine offensive player, there's no doubt about that, but he's a below average post defender.  The Kansas big men absolutely destroyed Hansbrough down low.  It's tough to argue with him being selected POY, but I would have given it to Beasley.  Beasley was more dominant on both sides of the ball, and he had absolutely NOONE (except for Walker, when he decided to play) around him.  There's no way K-State even sniffs the Tourney without Beasley.  However, I think UNC still has a good year without Hansbrough.

He has the numbers, and plays in the most hyped conference in the nation. Congrats to him for being a fine college player.

Now to the ugly truth:

He isn't really as good as people like Dick Vitale would have you believe.  Sure he can be physical in the ACC, but when put to task against the best in the nation, he comes up a little short.  in the KU game he was pushed around all game, yeah he got what 17 and 9, but as the National Player of the Year, the Final Four is where you put your stamp on the game.  He didnt.  As a matter of fact, after playing four home games in the tourny UNC looked primed for a championship....and they too, like Hansbrough came up short

His herky jerky come running in from the foul line to get a rebound and putback is fine in the college game, and he should stay, because he probably wont be putting up these kind of numbers at the next level.

It is good to see though when a player can assess strengths / weaknesses and not fall under the agent hype machine.  If he spends time developing his 15-17 jumpshot which started to show itself at the end of the season, he could be a decent pro.

I dont put all of the UNC loss to KU on his shoulders, although he was pushed around....post players cant do alot when the backcourt is bottled up......

Hansbrough is a great story.  although he gets knocked so much for his non NBA level of play he is one of the funnest college players to watch.  He has so much determination on every play of the game. hes up and down the court all game and is never taking breaks.  He is the anchor of this team and to make a run next year there going to need him.  I don't see him going anywhere though.  He is a class act

The championship he deserves?  Whatever.  He doesn't "deserve" anything.  First try to not be manhandled by Aldrich, Jackson and Kaun in the KU game.  And then look to the refs for a call every time someone touched him.

Why would Beasley return? I can see Hansbrourg returning after all He probably doesn't want to sit on the end of the bench watching the PRO's play!  Might as well come back and let those white guys at those Good old boys clubs give him some more honors he doesn't deserver! BY the way I'm white and I can even see IT! If he's the best college ball player he'd go first in draft and he'll be real lucky to even go top 10! Beasley will go #1 Rose probably goes  #2
