KU has a top 10 SOS this season and at least we won't have to hear that crap again. But this is good new indeed and i didn't realize tony was that old already( guess that shows my age).

BTW S. Florida this year, weren't they ranked 2nd at one point last year? Hows that for a OOC game tardo?

KU is projected to play 3 top ten teams, 4 top 15 teams, and 6 top 25 teams in 2008 so get over your whole SOS/jealousy thing dude.

Mizzou and KU are both off to good starts.  This will be the year where their good seasons take most effect.

Yeah Koz,

Too bad we couldn't schedule powerhouses like Eastern Illinois and Louisiana-Lafayette.

No but you did schedule

Florida International  2007 Record 1-11
Lousiana Tech 2007 Record 5-7
South Florida 2007 Record 9-4 (Very overated losses to Rutgers, Conn, Cinci, Oregon)
Sam Houston State 2007 Record 7-4 But a division 1-AA. Umm Yeah.

Way to schedule tough opponents to legitimize your program.

Bugaha,

You obviously know very little about college football.

You do realize that these out of conference games were schedule 3-4 years ago dont you?

They were 4-7 in 2004, pretty likely this is about the time these games were scheduled.

So really what you are saying is that KU is dumb for not predicting after a 4-7 season, very little if any football tradition, that they would go 12-1 in 2007 and an Orange Bowl victory and that they should stock up on the out of conference schedule.

NO ONE SCHEDULES A TOUGH OUT OF CONFERENCE SCHEDULE ANYMORE.

To call out only one team is very ignorant.

Bugaha,

By the way, hats off to the Huskers out of conference schedule next year.

Western Michigan 5-7

San Jose St. 5-7

New Mexico St. 4-9

Careful throwing rocks in glass houses.

Oh and don't forget we have Virginia Tech also. Look I know these schedules are made 3-4 years in advance. And I also know alot of upper echelon teams do not want to play some programs. I was just making a statement on that Kansas fans are feeling like they are being snubbed by pollsters and columnists.  And the big knock against them is they played absolutely no one last year.  And then the game that mattered they lost to Missouri.  Now Va Tech was a good game.  But watching that game Va. Tech beat themselves.  We will see what Kansas will do this year now when they now have to play Texas and OU.

BugahaScow: Try not to contradict yourself, big guy.  If you're going to make a point about how Va Tech beat themselves up against Kansas, don't make a case trying to legitimize your squads schedule with the same team.  Sure, Bo should eventually have you guys back but don't make a fool of yourself with posts like these on a Jayhawk board.

Finally, we obviously weren't snubbed by the press if we went to the Orange Bowl.. haha, let alone "feeling" like we were snubbed.
