How will it effect the Hoyas? Right now, in the Big East, Syracuse is slated to lose Donte Greene, West Virginia is slated to lose Joe Alexander, and Louisville is losing Earl Clark and Derrick Character. This does not include other notable Big East graduates Eric Devendorf, Darris Nichols, Roy Hibbert, David Padgett, and Ronald Ramon. How do you all think the teams will stack up. As of right now, you have to think Georgetown, Notre Dame, UConn, Villanova and Pitt are the top 5 teams.

I agree on the top 5. But I think some of these early rankings are ridiculous. Gtown at anywhere from #6 to #18. They will have talent, no doubt. But the biggest factor is whether or not Chris Wright can pick up where Wallace left off. Syracuse will lose Green. And I think Thabeet should go also. Alexander should leave too. Those 3 will be 1st rounders. ND will be overrated as always. The team to look out for is Pitt. I think they could win it all. They lost nobody.

You don't think Ronald Ramon is somebody? He was a certifiable Hoya Killer. He always hit clutch shots against us. Yes, he was basically a back-up point guard, but who would you have rather had last year, Ramon or Chris Wright. He may not be too high profile, but he did make a difference on that team. But you're right in that the best part of that team, Levance Fields, Sam Young and DaJuan Blair are coming back.

There have been whispers, although quiet and slight, that Sam Young may enter the NBA draft. I realy don't think he will, but if he does, Pitt won't be nearly as dangerous. They'll still be a great team, but Young is the man over there. Either way, with the players we have returning plus Monroe, Sims, Braswell and Clark coming in as a stellar recruiting class, I think we could do some damage next year. I don't think Chris Wright will be as cluch of a shooter as J-Wall was, but he's a better ball handler and has a lot more speed. We going to be alright, folks.

Still stinging from that second round loss, although I think it's obvious to everyone now that Davidson, despite their size and seeding, was one of the best teams in the country when everything finished up
