Well we had no problem stopping them this year. What makes you think the offense will do any better? Bring it on, we love teams that can throw for a million yards, cannot run for one, and let our offense walk up and down the field.

Actually no problem means you just have to slow them down a little because you know your "O" will hang about 60 (OK it was only 59) on their non existent "D"

Sure is fun to watch though.

Yep, under Carl Reese I worried about Tech but through Robinson, Chizik and especially now with Muschamp I don't have many doubts the Longhorns will come out on top. They've figured out that they're going to give up points but as long as you don't let them have their way you'll be able to control them just enough to let your offense outscore them.

This will be one of the few years that Texas will most likely lose.

1. The explosive running game of Texas has not been defined (i.e. Charles)

2.  Game is in Lubbock

3.  Tech will have a running game in 08 with the returning talent not to mention they are actually working on run blocking this spring.  New to the Leach era.

4.  3 new D-linemen (2 Juco and 1 Univ of Miami given elgibility) with actual talent that will be starting in 08.

5.  Receiving options for 08 will be ridiculous.

Texas will win if

1.  Mack get's a few lucky calls (typcial but not likely being in Lubbock)

2.  Pulls off a few trick plays like last year's onside kick.

3.  Finds an explosive running game to kill the clock or the defense gives Harrell a Mizzu type of performance (i.e. 3-4 ints)

Prediction - Low scoring and Tech will win being in Lubbock.

Dream on Sand Aggie.  The only reason Tech may beat Texas this year is because of the law of averages. Tech beats Texas about once every 5 years and they are due.

Gig yer guns up!

Texas had one of the worst secondaries in the nation and still beat Tech.  No team is scared of Texas Tech. They have gaudy passing numbers and can't stop anybody on D.

Texas Tech plays arena league ball.

Sorry bud, but tech cant beat the recent Texas teams no matter who they have.  They need a new defense, bc even with their 40+ points last year they cant stop us.  Tech has become UTs b**ch in the last few years, and dont see any reason why their defense wont give up 50+ this year and now only score under 30.

You should feel like an a** for creating this post...The Horns faired pretty well last season with one of the worst secondaries in the country, what makes you think all the sudden tech is gonna rise up and be elite? Go sit in the corner and think about what you typed here!
