I'm a huge Hoya fan out on the west coast. I try and read up on them as much as I can. I've been a fan since the 1st Hoya game I watched on TV at 10 years old. The dreaded 1985 championship game vs. Villanova. My wife and I went to our 1st game this year at the Verizon Center vs. Cincinnati......Anyways after such a disappointing end to the year, I'm ready to move on and look tto next year. Does anyone know how the schedule shapes up or if it isn't released yet when is it released? I know Memphis comes to D.C. but that's all I've heard. I googled next year's schedule and it doen't come up. Thanks to anyone that could help me out. John in CA

Here is what I got off there Web Page

The Georgetown University men's basketball team will face Wichita State in the first round of the 2008 Old Spice Classic, as matchups were announced on Tuesday afternoon by ESPN Regional Television, Inc. (ERT). The Old Spice Classic will be held on Thanksgiving weekend at the Milk House from Disney's Wide World of Sports Complex near Orlando, Fla.

All games will be shown live on the ESPN Networks (ESPN2 and ESPNU). Seven of the eight teams playing in the tournament qualified for postseason play during 2007-08, including five in the NCAA Tournament, with two advancing to the Sweet 16. Each team will compete in one game per day, advancing through a bracket-tournament format.

In the first round of action, beginning Thursday, Nov. 27, Tennessee will take on Siena (noon); Wichita State will face Georgetown (2 p.m.); Maryland will meet Michigan State (7 p.m.); while Oklahoma State and Gonzaga (9 p.m.) will square off. All games on the first day of action will be televised on ESPN2.

The winner of the Georgetown-Wichita State game will play either Tennessee or Siena on Friday, November 28 at 1 p.m. The loser will play either one of those two teams on Friday at 10:30 a.m.

"We are excited about the growth of this event and the quality of this field that represents outstanding conferences from around the country," said Pete Derzis, senior vice president and general manager, ESPN Regional Television. "The Old Spice Classic continues to provide a terrific off-the-court experience for the student-athletes, coaches and staffs. Fans have the opportunity to watch great college basketball games while also enjoying everything the Walt Disney World Resort and Orlando area have to offer."

The two teams who win both of their games to start the tournament will face off in a championship match at 7:30 p.m. ET Sunday, Nov. 30, on ESPN2. Complete matchups are listed below.

This will be the first meeting ever between Georgetown and Wichita State. The Hoyas have played only three other schools from the Missouri Valley Conference, carrying an all-time record of 2-4 against the conference members. The last meeting against a school from the MVC was a 54-49 win over Northern Iowa during the 2005-06 season, when the Hoyas advanced to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament.

Tickets to the 2008 Old Spice Classic will go on sale August 15 at www.Ticketmaster.com or by calling 407-839-3900. Fans can also purchase travel packages to the tournament by going to www.AnthonyTravel.com or by calling 1-800-736-6377.
