Anybody with a DVR or that taped this game can go back and look.  At 7:54 on the clock they called CDR for a trip on Rush but he was't even close to him, it was a clear travel but whatever that didn't cost the Tigers as Kansas missed the shot anyway and the Tigers came down and made one.  But the biggie, and I mean a big one...was at the 1:54 mark on the button when Memphis was up by 7 throwing the ball in.  There was a steal attempt in the corner and the Kansas player was clearly out of bounds with his foot.  Go take a look if you don't believe me.  Kansas was credited with the steal and got a 3 pointer out of it.  Huge game changer at that point.  Hey it happens, but that in my opinion cost the tigers.

Congrats to the Jayhawks in any event.  Just wanted to point that out.

I think that the Tigers can only blame themselves for not closing this one out.  I am a lifelong Tigers fan and hated the outcome, but they had plenty of opportunity to win the game.  As a high school football coach here in Memphis, we always say that one play does not decide a game.  It can influence the game, but there are plenty of other plays that the Tigers didn't take advantage of.  But it was a terrific season and these guys should be congratulated on their success on the year.  To Joey Dorsey - all of us Memphis fans will always love ya big guy.  To CDR - you truly showed how good you are at creating your own shot.  To Antonio - you are my favorite Tiger and can always be counted on for defense, and offense when you want to.  And Derrick Rose - you are truly a fine talent and have an outstanding future in front of you.  Even though it's wishful thinking, I hope everyone that still has eligibilty will at least think about staying.  It is amazing what you guys have done for this program and the entire city would love for you guys to stick around as long as possible.  GREAT YEAR TIGERS!!!!!!!!!!
