Well either those piggies think they got a better chance at beating us or else the Dallas gig locked down long term seemed like a better deal all the way around. I got to go with the latter myself. Playing a big time game like that in Big D each year would be great for recruiting and if there are some classic matchups and exciting games you might give the Red River rivalry game a run for it's money someday.

GIG EM!!

I am excited about the long term contract between us. Playing in the new Cowboy stadium will be something I can really look forward to each season instead of wondering if we'll play New Mexico State or Western Poly Tech. I think Arkansas fans have taken the TU rivalry more seriously than TU in the past nine years and I wish we would have been able to keep them on next year too. This new SWC rivalry deal with A&M was just too sweet to pass up. I've rooted for A&M since we left the SWC and the past two years you guys gave me an early Xmas present by beating TU. Here's to both of us taking care of them this year and looking forward to the next 10!

Gig Em and GO HOGS!!!

I thought it was hilarious that Texas got dropped by the Hogs.  But I also think Arkansas is gutless for doing it.  I know they are in the "superior" SEC and didn't want too many "real" games out of conference but just think what it could do for your season if you could beat two Big 12 teams before you ever got to the SEC games.  If you have a good team you should put it up against anyone.  Guess this shows you how they feel about their program.

Sorry to beat down the Hogs because they are my favorite SEC team.  My in-laws and a lot of friends live and die Razorback football and I cheer them on against anyone but the Ags.

Who gives a rat's ass. We've owned Texas in recent years. Why would we be "scared" of another series. If we were scared...we would have dropped both games.

What's the incentive to playing so many great OOC games...respect? Bullsh!t. Respect will be long forgotten at the end of the year when you have too many losses and the better bowls are passing you by cause some other team scheduled easier but has a better record.

We still got Texas and Tulsa this year. Next year would have been Texas, A&M, and Tulsa again. Why should Ark schedule this at all when 99% of other teams in the nation aren't doing this? SOS wise the SEC would still be sufficient to qualify for a NC if you go unscathed.

So the OOC games can SUCK IT...for all I care.

Although I will enjoy beating King's Aggies relentlessly every year in Big D....it will give the young Texas kiddies some perspective when trying to figure out which football program they want to attend

I just want the Aggies to play some tough teams before conference play so we can see where our weakness/strength is.

I love the fact that tu lost out on the Arkansas game.  At the very least this game will bring more attention to both us and Arkansas.

I think Arkansas just picked yall because they can kill yall in a game instead of having a close one with texas.
