While I fully expect Beanie Wells to have a huge year, I think our defense - particularly in the BCS title game (should we make it that far) - is the key element to an Ohio State national title next year.
Ohio State MUST mix things up and adapt to the spread offense: I don't think their D was overrated the past two, but simply unprepared for an offense they don't see often. Preparation for this needs to start TODAY, not after the Michigan game.
On offense, I am still bewildered why OSU abondoned the run the past two BCS titles games after early success from Pittman and Wells. I think they panicked and tried to make up points quickly: I hope next year they can put it all together.
