P.S. I never said I support Obama. My vote will be against the war mongers who got us into and want to keep us in the Iraq war. My previous comments were to set the record straight.
Obama is not the right president for this country because of more than he just doesn't put his hand over his heart. Obama will put so much taxes on us that it would takes days just to name of all of the taxes we have. Our best president for our country right now that accully has a chance to win is McCain and he is still not that good. If he had a chance RON PAUL would be the best for our country.
Ron Paul was the best of the republican candidates. McCain would be a continuation of the failed Bush reign. McCain would be perfectly happy to spend billions a day and to sacrfice thousands of Americans to sustain the greatest Al Quadi recruiting opportunity ever. If you think this won't raise taxes, if not on us, on our chidren and grand children, you must have believed the dictator (Saddam, not Bush the decider) had WMD's, including nukes. Please enlighten us. What new taxes would Obama impose and what old taxes would he raise. Also, what part of the budget would you cut in lieu of rasing taxes? P.S. On the democractic side I preferred Richadson, Edwards and Dodd.
First of all he is going to end the bush tax cuts which will raise taxes for a average citizen like 1000 dollars or something. Also he is probably going to have a carbon emmisions tax that would make the gas prices crazy Plus he is a liberal and they belive take from the rich and give to the poor. The only reason that I can't tell more is becuase he won't release them because it would take down his campain.

Yeah well, our government is spending money like a drunken sailor on shore leave. And unfortunately, the Republicans are just as financially irresponsible nowadays as the Democrats are.
If it were up to me, I'd cut government spending, raise taxes, end this "free trade"/NAFTA nonsense and put stiff tariffs on any imported goods coming from countries who pissed me off. Then, I'd take all the extra cash flowing into the treasury and simply buy out Canada and Mexico. This would effectively solve the "immigration" problem, as every Mexican would move north into the states, and every American age 18-20something would move south to Cancun. Also, angry liberal extremists mad at George W. Bush and other future Republican presidents would no longer have to go through stacks of immigration papers in order to move to Canada when their own presidential candidates (pretty much just Dennis Kucinich) lose in the elections.

That platform would piss off alot of people... But I'm with you (except for buying Mexico and Canada)... Government has gotten soft and that str8 in your face platform would let everybody know its not a game!!!
