Got to agree, i'm not sure memphis will win it all but i'm darn sure it won't be UCLA, the team that has struggled the most in the weakest bracket. Time for the hype train to stop, UCLA's luck ends here.

Why are so many writers always big on West Coast teams? Every time there is a good team from California....."oh they're the best!". I don't see it. I think this is clearly UNC's tournament to lose.
Memphis is a good team but they won't be able to run with the Heels. I do think they will beat UCLA though.

All this UCLA bashing...knowone has mentioned Love. Who has the answer? Memphis sure as hell doesn't and we all know Hansborough is not the answer.
So how does UCLA not cruise past Memphis and play UNC for the title? The strongest beast inside with collison, westbrook, shipp and mbah a moute.

I agree that UCLA has been hyped up way to much. I don't think they will be able to hang with the Tigers athletisism. With the Jayhawks and Tarheels, Kansas had to much trouble with Davidson and UNC has Dominated all tournament minus one second half run from Louisville. So the Tarheels will beat Kansas and meet Mamphis in the final game. When UNC and Memphis meet, this will be a exciting high energy game with alot of points scored. I have no ideal who is going to win but I am a Tarheels fan so I am pulling for the Heels.

answer: Joey Dorsey. The dude is no offensive juggernaut, but he is a beast on the defensive side of the ball. And, he is one of the few big men who is athletic enough to move outside the lane, where Love likes to spot up...But love is an excellent player, to be sure. It should be a great battle on the inside, between the two of them. I just hope the refs let them play, so that we can see them go at it...pea sout.

Agreed. I think it will be a UNC/Memphis battle for the title. I am a lifelong Tiger fan, so you know which way I am leaning :), but I have been thoroughly impressed with the Tar Heels. First things first, though...Bring on Saturday night!

I aree with you that Memphis will beat UCLA and go on to win the tournement but I do not agree that they will be playing NC. Memphis will beat Kansas for the Natoinal Championship.

UCLA will prevail and it will be a nice championship game with two powerhouses UNC/UCLA. Memphis is just not ready for this kind of stage. They have great athelets however, im not convinced that they know how to win with the different paces that the
Bruins will throw at them. Memphis seems to only know how to play one way: FAST.
It will be a great game however, the Bruins will come out victorious. Go Bruins!

UCLA shouldn't even BE in the Final Four. Had they not gotten so much zebra love in that Texas A&M game. The only thing they didn't do to Donald Sloan on that last attempt at the buzzer was steal his wallet...a mugging like that, that goes uncalled. Shame on you.

Memphis has proven all year that they can play full court, half court, fast break, below the rim, above the rim,slow it down, speed it up. They have certainly won games in which the other team tried to slow it down and grind it out, most noteably, Georgetown, and USC. so i don't agree that the Tigers can only play fast... its just not true.

I agree, Memphis can grind it out with the best of them, they have go to guys in CDR and Rose, which makes them so hard to stop in the half court set. Also they can shoot the three with CDR, Rose, Kemp and Mack. if Anderson gets hot, then it will be an extremely long day for the Bruins. having Anderson hitting shots just makes them that much more devastating on offense... i just don't see this one any other way, Tigers77 Ucla62
