What....are you kidding me? The Royals sweep the mighty Tigers holding them to 1 run in the last 2 games of the series. I'm a realist and understand the season is 3 games old....but lets be serious...it doesn't take much to get a Royals fan excited, and a sweep of the tigers to open the season reinforces my theory that the Royals are going to suck a little less this year. Now we will see what the bottom of our pitching rotation is capable of.

Way to go Royals!! Take it to the Twins next!!

And to think all this time, I thought I was alone out here.

I hope these people stick around when the team starts to lose.

funny though.....trash talk from Royals fans.......I've been hearing it all winter.  It's time to give it back, especially to them.  They were pretty loud this winter.

Meche, Bannister, and Greinke pitched great games against a great lineup. I'm not going to say we are going to win the division or anything, but I think we got some people's attention. We aren't going to just roll over this year. We have a solid lineup with some pop in the middle of the order and a practically unhittable  closer with Soria. Can't wait til the Yankees come in town next week. GO Royals!   <img src="chrome://piclens/content/launch.png" style="position: absolute; width: 35px; height: 29px; z-index: 1000; display: none;" alt="" />

ya your right it doesnt take much for a Royals fan to get excited, cause im a devoted Royals fan and im really excited about the sweet this week. Our pitching and hitting was great and i just hope that we can keep it up and not start a big slump. We are known for having big losing streaks and i hope that can stop this year.  Our lineup is really strong and are starters all threw really well, especially Bannister who pitched 7 innings and a shutout. Greinke pitched 7 innings and one run. Meche pitched pretty well only giving up 3 runs in 6 innings. Alex Gordon has 2 HR's in 3 games which is good for the 2nd year 3rd baseman. I hope we can turn it around like the
