We have Braden Looper, Adam Wainwright, and Kyle Lohse going against the Nats. I like our chances of taking 2 of 3 again. Let's go for the sweep though. Just as long as we can keep winning series' we will be in contention.

ill be at the diamond tonight to see Loops toss a few.  im kind of hoping for one of these pitchers we have now sticking it to a Pinero when he tries to come back.  dont change what works.  loving the outfield now.  shu ank lud/bart.  im speculating on the lud/bart part , but i have a feeling Tony will go there.

go cards

The Nationals start Odalis Perez tonight against the Cardinals. I know one player that is licking his chops, Albert Pujols. The man is 13-20 against Perez lifetime with 5 HR's and 15 RBI's. I think El Hombre will have at least one HR tonight and hopefully Looper will continue the good starting pitching. I'm going to the game on Saturday to watch Wainwright first "official" start, i predict at least 2 of 3 in this series.

The fact that we are off to a good start this season is a good sign!  Pitching looked a lil weary when first 2 starters only went 10 innings but with it being the start of the season, im hoping that they can start going longer innings.  As for the Cubs, i was watching them 2 days ago because there was nothing else on tv it was funny to think that they were the team that the entire crew of baseball tonite picked them to win the world series!  I completely laughed my ass of when i saw all of the fundamental errors that they were committing.  I live here in Iowa and get to watch the Iowa Cubs play (their AAA affiliate), lets just say they should have kept kendal or atleast kept barret!  Soto isnt good and ive watched him come up through the system.  if they keep him as their future then they will be hurting in the long run.  I see us finishing 3rd this season if mulder and carp get back to full health and pitch great!  Go Cardinals!!

Wonderful start to the year.  I was feeling optimistic about the start of the season and this makes things look even better.  With consistent production from the outfield we can keep it going.  The Cards can easily be the surprise team of the year.  Coudn't believe it when some people said they would come in last in the NL Central.

Went to the game last night against the Nationals, and I have to say Looper was pretty good.  His pitching was impressive, and he can bunt!  His breaking ball was dropping 12 to 6 and he was pitching extremely smart.  Barton is the real deal stretching out that first at bat into a double.  He can fly too!  Pujols looked great, and I mean his conditioning.  He had to of lost 10lbs or so, he is in great shape.  Ankiel is just something else, he is so fun to watch, and he tries 110% every at bat.  All I can say is I cannot wait unitl Ryan can come play for Miles.  Again, the Cubs lose and I love it!!!  I am get more and more excited everyday about OUR team!

Another good win this afternoon. All our starters are 1-0 except Lohse, and he deserved a win the way he pitched. Let's sweep tomorrow and go to 5-1.Cubs won also, which sucks, but as long as we are winning I am happy.

We look so good right now!  I hope we stay healthy, meaning Pujols, and keep this pace all year.  I would be very pleased to keep winning 2 of 3 each series!  The Cardinals are fun to watch right now!
