Dear Heavenly Father, I lift up each prayer request on this thread and ask that Your will be done in each matter as Your mercy and grace are sufficient for all of us. Bless each one here for their faith in You and for taking the time to lift up their fellow brothers and sisters in prayer. I give You praise in advance for the work You are about to do and pray these things in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Amen

Hello everyone,
I enjoy being a part of this Christian community and, although I don't post much, I do read all your messages regularly and pray for the requests I see here.
My request is for my brother-in-law Dave. About 4 years ago his prostate was removed due to prostate cancer. His "numbers" (not sure what that means) have gone up and now all we know is that he definitely has cancer - we just don't know where. If it's in his bones (50/50 chance of that), then the prognosis is 10 years IF the treatments work. If the cancer is only in his prostate bed, he can start radiation treatments right away. This appears to be the better possibility.
My sister has had a difficult life in so many ways. She's fragile physically and emotionally. So far she has taken these developments with the right attitude, but I'm also afraid that losing her husband might be too much for her to bear. He is her rock.
Dave is a good Christian man, faithful to the Lord through good times and bad. Debbie is a Christian, but I feel that her faith is a little shakier due to her depression. Dave is good for Debbie, and she is good for him. They bring out the best in each other.
Dave had a bone scan last week and is having a series of tests this week. He will see his doctor about a treatment when all the tests have been evaluated. Please pray for him and my sister. Thank you so much in advance.

My prayers for all of you ambassadors for the Lord. The work that is being done here just makes feel good that some sports fans know what the real winning team is.
I have two prayer requests.
1-for my family that God looks over them through through my Mom and Grandmothers illness.
Hey robb, You got it brother ...
2-for an unspoken request for myself through a difficult time in my life. For wisdom and strength. For The Lords will to be worked through me, regardless of the outcome.
"reguarless of the outcome", really popped out at me on your request. It takes strength in the Lord and great faith to even ask that because we do not know what it holds, only that he will never give us to much. Bless You friend!!!!!
Prayers indeed!!
Tony

Father, I thank you for your healing yesterday. Father, you never fail me when the pain comes and yesterday was no exception. Thank you for the Cross Father Jesus and by your stripes we are healed! In Jesus name I pray. Amen

I have a rather emotional ( for me anyway) prayer request. I see on a daily basis the great work the lord does with the prayers submitted from this thread.
So I ask you prayer warriors to prayer for my friend Scott. Scott is a divorced father of 2 daughters. His daughter Ashley just died Monday the 12th. She battled cancer for some time. She was 7 years old. Scott, I don't believe is christian, but he is one of the kindest, good hearted people I know. He always had a bright disposition even when faced with this most trying if times. The saddest part for me and the part that chokes me up is that she died while in the middle of a seizure. She didn't go peacefully. That tears me up. I ask that you all take a minute today and lift Scott and his family up to the lord. That the lord may give them peace and comfort during this hard time. That he may work in their lives through Ashleys passing, that they may come to know him. I know in my heart that Ashley is rejoicing with the lord now. I pray that Scott and his family find peace in that fact.
I thank you all in advance. You are true warriors for Christ, and I love you for that.

Great and gracious Father, we thank You for sending Your Son to save us so that we could be reconciled to You and come boldly before Your throne of grace. We know that You know our needs before we ask, yet Your word tells us that we are to ask, to seek, to knock and the door will be open, that we are to bring our hearts' concerns to You. We ask then that You look with favor on Your children Dave and Debbie. Please work Your healing in Dave for his cancer and give both Dave and Debbie the strength and endurance to walk with You on whatever path You have set before them. Let them know the comfort of Your presence and step forth in faith as they face the tests and treatments. Guide the hands of the health care workers that they would be accurate and compassionate. You can heal through them or through Your miraculous power regardless of what the doctors say. If it be Your will, Lord, please work a healing for them. We will praise You for whatever perfect work You do and have already done for You alone are worthy of praise. We ask in Jesus' name, Amen

Abba, Father, we cry out to You as we feel the pain of a child You have called home to be with You. We pray for Ashley's family as they deal with her loss, remembering that Your Son, our Lord Jesus, cried at the tomb of Lazarus, even though He knew He would raise Lazarus from the dead. As Jesus wept, we know He felt compassion for those grieving the death of Lazarus and our Savior also feels the grief of Ashley's family. Please touch them in such a way that they know only You can. Make Yourself known to them at this time so that they would turn to You and be saved and know the Comforter You have sent to be with Your children. We admit we do not understand and react with Godly thoughts when children are sick and die, but Your word tells us Your ways are not our ways and that we have far to go in growing to be the people You have planned us to be. Only knowledge of You and submission to Your will conforms us to the image of Your Son. We thank You that Ashley is safe at home to suffer no more; please turn her family's hearts to You so that they would know comfort in their grief and hope in t | |
