It'll be Primetime 8 pm on national television (ABC) on September 13th.  Cuse could be 2-0 going into the game.  Our first two games are @ Northwestern and at home v. Akron.  Northwestern was 6-6 last season but they lost 10 starters and Akron was 4-8 and they lost 11 starters.  Winning those first two would help draw fans to the game, hopefully we can draw a sellout.  If Gross can make a little ploy like a white-out or blue-out or whatever then more people can come.

P.S.  4 of Cuse's first 5 games are at the Dome.  The one on the road is the Northwestern game, season opener.  If they play well they could go 5-0, but that is probably being wildly optomistic.

it would relly be nice for the team to get off to a good start 2-0 going into that game just for team and fan moral what weve been put through for the last few season and as a season ticket holder i hope g. rob gets this turned around, but in my opinion i just dont think hes the right man for the job. he dosent seem to be a good motivator or good at managing the clock like befor half time or end of game situtations, but he has done a great job with his defenses in all his past jobs he is deffinitly a good defense cord. at all levels he has a superbowl ring and a national title but life is much much different as a head coach. so lets all hope were heading in the right direction and lets all go support the team, spring lets us hope were going to a bowl game this year how nice would that be

Devofan,

Just wondering were you heard that its going to be prime time on ABC.

And I agree this is a huge game. Because i belive this team will make dramatic improvments from last year and not only could but should go into this game 2-0.  A win on national television against a great program like Penn St. would be huge for us. It would also make up for the embarresment against washington last year. I know i'll definitly make the 2 1/2 hour drive up from PA for this one. It could draw a sellout if we are 2-0. Which would really pump up the players especially with a primetime kickoff on ABC. And I know were inside but a night game still brings a different atmosphere to the dome. I know I would love to walk around Dallas, PA which is swarming with Penn St. fans wearing a Syracuse shirt if we can pull this off.

National TV coverage in Prime time with a capacity filled Carrier Dome can do nothing but help the program. It would give recruiting a much needed boost.

I heard the game would be on primetime ABC on Penn St forums, and Cuse forums. It's also possible gameday would be there because the game would be a split game. Meaning half the country gets our game while the other half gets a west coast game.

First off, what makes you think they can go 2-0 since they haven't won that many total in two years? (I hope you're right, tho...)

Secondly...

...that is the funniest damned avatar I've seen yet.

Wow Senior Guapo, You must be a big fan. LOL. But just to let you know they won 2 games last year and 4 the year before. Thats 6.  2+4=6. We can get together twice a week and work on your 1st grade addition.

I am looking foreward to this game. Nice to be playing Syracuse again. I would think this game would sell out.  Since we do not play Northwestern this year I hope you beat them. 2-0 would be a good start.

Good luck

I am a Penn State student, anticipating graduation this semester, and a Syracuse fan, born and raised in CNY.  I'll be looking forward to this game, if for no other reason than because no matter who wins, I can brag to quite a few people.
