	It is not the city's fault that the Sonics are leaving,they just didn't bend over for the new owner. Clay Bennett tried to force the taxpayers to pay $500 million for a new arena when the current one had been renovated only 10 years ago. Bennett just made that unreasonable offer to show that he "tried" to keep the Sonics in Seattle before shipping them off to Oklahoma.

	Blackman you know nothing about the NBA i am sorry to say. Seattle offered to buy the team. Bennett is a greedy american and contributes to our lame society. Bennett and Dick cheney are very similar. Greedy americans who care about money only.

	what an idiotic statement, do you know anything about seattle basketball history at all? obviously not, seattle has poured its heart and soul into this team, they are a great basketball city. you know what, seattle is just an amazing city overall. its clay bennett who's to blame here, a greedy self absorbed jerk who's breaking the hearts of millions of people to start a franchise in oklahoma city. yeah, oklahoma freakin city. goodbye seattle SuperSonics, hello oklahoma city tumbleweeds. the day the sonics leave is a sad day for the nba.

	Boo hoo, cry me river Seatlle. In1983 the Baltimore got stripped of everything it has eaccomplished as a football city. They moved the Bullets out of town as matter of fact too, later on that though. If the State of MD wasnt such a POS of a state 1) the colts will still be in Baltimore and 2) the Sonics could of been coming to Baltimore, but they wont build a suitable place for a NBA team to come play here. I dont how it is in Washinton, but here you cant gamble even leg 2 of the triple crown is held in Baltimore. You cant have any sanctioned MMA or Boxing matches here. I might be a little rough here, but dont feel alone in the team swithcing city debalacle that has nothing to do with the fan. And FYI Baltimore fans generally arent fans of Washington DC, sports. The Wiz arent my favorite team. Right now I just root for certain players. I dont consider that bandwagoning. If Baltimore gets an NBA team (that's actually a big IF) thats my team to the end

	Plain and simple it's the owner who wants out and is doing everything in there power to make it happen. Trading Allen not signing Lewis is all the owner making it easier to move this team to Oklahoma. Thats all he is going for the outrageous demands for new stadium and such is his way to make it look better that he is moving the sonics away after 41 yrs. which is pretty sad since I personally give them 10 years top before they are bankrupt. Sure the Hornets sold out there but I think that has to do more with Katrina than the ppl of Oklahoma wanting to watch a bball game when you think Oklahoma you think Football or at least I do.
