I know the Spring game is on April 26th but my question is does it cost to go to it or can i just show up that day and attend all of the events?

Not sure but knowing the university they will charge to get into the game.  My son is in the band and when they charge 5 dollars to send a fax I would not expect anything from there to be free.

I went last year, and believe that it was free. (Maybe only for students) This year it may be different because they seem hell-bent on sucking fans and students dry. At least this year the game is full contact. Also, school will be in session, so there might not be anywhere to park.

How much more do tickets cost this year? I know that next year's tuition has risen by 6%, so I'm sure that tickets have too. Thank god I only pay a buck per game.

Tickets prices went up by 10.00 dollars.  It's a shame that it cost so much to attend a game.

The spring game is free! I think it starts at 5pm but they are having a family day that starts at 12pm. Go to www.hogwired.com for more details.

Everyone seems bitter about the rising prices for events like football games, etc.. But know that all the spring game activities are free. SO take your behinds up there with the family and let the kids have a good time! It is all free! Get autographs let loose.

Back to the price issue If you really have a problem with this then you need to take a look more at politics. It is the struggling dollar and inflation that is causing all of this. At the same time it is important to note that the UA is near the bottom in cost. SO we really do not have it that bad. Heck I live in CO and will make it to at least 3 or 4 games this year again like last year. But if you are really upset about this then you should talk to your Represenative and tell him how unhappy you are with all these costs. Because he is the one most likely taking money from the lobbyists and voting to pass bills and laws that would help the economy, and against your interests is benefiting. If you look into your reps. voting history you will find some ugly facts. I have taken a look at the AR reps across the board and they are not helping you. The CO reps dont have it so easy. People here follow the politics closely and someone that votes against his districts wishes is not reelected. But it does not appear to be that way in AR. Seems there is to much trust put into these reps. Believe me you can not trust someone that has money thrown at them ever.

Our ticket prices are still one of the best values in the SEC. The only schools that have lower ticket prices are Vanderbilt, Ole Miss, South Carolina and Mississippi State. One look at their facilities and you can tell that their ticket prices are low. We have to be able to keep up with the upper echelon of the SEC so that we can have facilities that can compete with those schools for players.

We are second to none when it comes to our facilities and we need to keep it that way. If you want to use schools ticket prices as a barometer of the program, LSU 55.00 plus a license for your seats and I hear they are going up; Texas 80.00 for premium games and 65.00 for lesser games; Tennessee 65.00 per game, so you can see the haves and have nots. We can be one of the haves and do it for less than those schools since the cost of living in NW Arkansas is a little less than those places, but when push comes to shove the prices will go up any time we want to make improvements to our facilities stadium not withstanding.

But, back to the spring game, I got my info from the Razorback foundation and it is free and there are events for the kids all afternoon from noon until 5pm. Hope to see you all there!

I'm out!

DERRRR I'm a disgruntled Lou Lou Lou Louisville fan who's still angry his team lost a great coach.

Petrino will be here for 2-3 year, which will give us a GREAT foundation. As long as he does his job, which is to make us contenders, I could care less if he leaves before his contract ends. He might have to stay for 3-4 years at Arkansas to rebuild his reputation, because let's face it, what big team would take another chance on this guy if he screwed yet another team?
