Let's just hope for U of L & their fans tonight's men's game is officiated better than the women's game versus the same 2 teams has been. What a joke! The zebra's literally changed the flow of the game with all of their calls & MISSED calls!!

Well, you got your wish.  The officials kept Louisville in the game in the 2nd half of the men's game.  At one point, the zebras had called 10 team fouls against Carolina, to only 3 against the Cardinals.  They tried to keep the game close, and give Louisville a chance.  It was so bad at one point that my friend who attends Louisville texted me, "wow, that is the worst officiating I have ever seen: Thank God the refs want to keep us in the game!"

Yep

If you think the refs were the only thing that kept us in the game then i dont know whats wrong with you...we started to play alot better in the second half....and the refs should have called more fouls, with hansbrough hacking padgett a lot during the game!

but im not saying thats the reason we lost....unc played the better game and they're the better team...

Not saying that at all.  I thought Louisville played great in the second half.  But there was a stretch (capped by the traveling call on Lawson when he was clearly pushed) in the 2nd half where the calls were extremely questionable;  and during the stretch Louisville went on an important run to tie the game.

Believe me, I have always been a huge believer in Louisville.  Before the brackets were announced, I told everyone that the one team I didn't want in UNC's bracket was the Cardinals.  Padgett's return brought the team back together, and they started playing like the pre-season top 5 team everyone expected them to be.

In the end, its just like Pitino said after the game.  Louisville simply ran into a better team.
