I heard alot of bold predictions this week from Badger nation about their "amazing team" that should have been a two seed and was going to put KU in their place. Absolutely the most annoying fans I have ever encountered. Happy to see you go. Big Ten should stick to wrestling. As for Davidson ... well done. Should make for an exciting game. Hope you can keep up with a team that likes to actually score points!

And Wisconsin, who is from the BIG 10, was 3-0 against your conference, the BIG XII. The Badgers beat Colorado, Kansas St. (who beat you guys I might add), and @ Texas. So don't give me this stick to wrestling crap. Your lucky we didnt face your precious Jayhawks. 3-0 against the BIG XII this year, I'll take that.
If I were a Wisconsin fan I would be happy with that also. 3-0 against the best conference in college basketball this year. Great job. We'll be happy with our Final Four run though. And then our chance for a run at the National Title.
I'd also like to know how the Great Bo Ryan couldn't come up with a gameplan to stop Davidson. Interesting.
I will say this. Stephen Curry is pretty amazing and that team is playing great. I just hope after we take care of them, all the Badger fans will finally realize the fact that KU is just a better team than Wisconsin this year. I was seeing a lot of denial on this board and will probably continue to see it.

Actually, I think the Big 12 owns wrestling too. Ok State is a blueblood in wrestling. 34 wrestling championships.

I personally took 24 hours off from blogging just to get over the gut shot delivered by Davidson. I won't be a sore loser. good for them. Davidson had quicker "bigs" and much better conditioning. Great team. Great coach. Though it seems to me that I have to work on not being a sore loser, some of you guys are being sore winners. I predicted a three seed, I don't remember ever complaining about it. Besides the two seeds did badly while the threes played to their seed or better. Most of my posts have been about defending my team against fans that clearly don't know much about it. Do you really have a problem with that? If this annoys you, I apologize. You know what annoys me? Fans that can't feel good about themselves unless they're chopping other people down. That's the definition of no class. Kansas basketball excellence is wasted on them.
Wisconsin played to their seed and there's only eight teams that did better. I'd love to get more but I ain't crying.
Okay Buckyball I stand corrected. Maybe I just felt like stirring the pot a little. I normally don't like to take shots at good teams (such as Wisconsin) but you have to admit ... the Badger fans were making some outrageous statements all week and I just felt compelled to piss them off! Even though I am not a Big 10 fan at all, I thought Wisconsin played some very good basketball this year and ran into a Davidson buzzsaw. Thanks for being classy and sticking up for your team.
Davidson played some great ball...period. I'll give props to Davidson-- played a great game and as aBadger fan, not ashamed of my team losing to a great Davidson team. I don't say this too often but Bo Ryan got out coached. I saw Badger ball maybe once in the 2nd half and that was about it.. No passes in the paint-- when they did--racked up 3 fouls on Davidson right away. I don't know what the game plan was -- but trying to stick with a team shooting 3's was not the way to go.
Davidson had a great game plan-- move the ball and create someopen looks for the shooters who drained the shots all game. I said earlier if Davison was going to move on they needed others to step up , win the turnover ratio ( Davidson scored more than 20 points of those turnovers) and win the free throw contest which they did. Badgers had a great year but ran into a Davidson team hot & on a roll. If Curry shoots that last shot versus Kansas-- Davidsonmaybe headed to the Final Four.
That last play was puzzling as hell. Curry never brings the ball up. I thought Davidsosn would set up some ball screens to get him open for the last shot or do a drive and kick out to Curry. He just looked confused handling the ball at the end looking for a shot.
Don't feel to bad about Bo Ryan being out coached by McKillop, Self coach out coached lastnight and should have lost. I am a huge Kansas fan, but I know the only reason we won is because of out athleticism and the play of Kaun. Without Kaun we would have lost, big time. That is the best game I have ever seen him play, you could tell he didn't want that to be his last game in a KU jersey.
