I agree with you, jasonprice. Even though the article says Croom will have no public comment for now, you know there is no way he would tolerate this stuff.   It's just one reason why I have a ton of respect for him and follow Miss. State to the extent I can from here in NJ.  The improvement in that team has been remarkable over the last few years, especially with the lack of offensive talent until the freshman QB.  It's just a shame we have to keep reading constantly about these incidents, whether it' s in Starkville, Piscataway, State College, Tuscaloosa or anywhere else.  It seems like something happens almost every week.

It's been that way since he first arrived. He will not hesitate to kick a player off the team even if it's the best player. Nick Turner can confirm that.

He rebuilt our program on character, and it's great to see that one good year doesn't change what the program stands for.

Be good or be gone.  That's Croom's mantra.  MSU has got to have the most arrest in the SEC the last 2 years and that is saying something.  People like to give Croom a pass because he talks good talk but all the character he recruits continue to get in trouble.

I have TONS of respect for Sylvester Croom. He reminds me of Gene Stallings. Class would describe Croom. Class would also describe Stallings.

Well, it definately sucks to have this going on.  This was no doubt one of the stupidest things these kids have done (and got caught).  As much as I hate to see Brown gone, the team and the university has to do what it has to do.  Hopefully, these kids will realize how much your life can change in an instant for stupid decisions.

GO DOGS!!!

By the way price....Stallings is one of the few Alabama coaches I have ever respected and liked.

And unfortunately, it looks like more players will get the boot too! See link:

By the way price....Stallings is one of the few Alabama coaches I have ever respected and liked.

It was Coach Gene Stallings who was a member of Coach Paul Bryant's team after the 1962 season who wanted to kick Joe Namath off the team for his drinking problems.
Then it was Coach Gene Stallings who wanted to "HELP" David Palmer and his drinking problems. David Palmer was arrested twice in four months for drunken driving charges.
I think the media, fans, and everyone is getting caught up with this idea that these young kids should be kicked
