Got to go with Morneau. Sure, Young has the potential to hit for great avg, 20-30 HR, and 100+ RBI, but Morneau has already done this two seasons in a row with 30+ HR and 110+ RBI (aside from his dip in avg. after the all-star break last season).
I'm going with Joe Nathan, because if he doesn't, we're screwed. Yes - we need our offensive weapons to perform, but anything less than flawless is going to kill us as we chase Cleveland, Chicago, Detroit and (maybe) Kansas City this year. We HAVE to have consistency from the bullpen to have a chance.
We had better get good production out of Mauer and Morneau but I hope that D Youngs numbers can compare to Hunters in recent years... I think Gomez can make a big splash on this team too If he can find a way to hit .250 he will steal 50 bases and score 100 runs easy. I think this team will score runs I just wonder about the SP Bonser must improve and Baker must continue his progress for this team to be competitive in '08.
