Stop annointing saviors prematurely ... especially at places that don't even really need saving.  If the guy is great ... fine.  I don't care for at least a year & a half.

All I want to know is does Mater Dei have an elementary school team?  How's that QB looking?  Has he committed to USC yet?  Good grief!

RJP11, your actually thinking.....and that is not required here.   I totally agree with your Powlus analogy.  Hell, what about Jimmy Clausen, to here folks tell it, that after he and ND won there national title last year, he was gonna invent a CURE ALL vaccine, and rid the world of hatred.

Well, let just say we will settle for a few completions, and no fumbled snaps.

And didnt Todd Marinovich come from one of these picturesque settings too.

Let the kid play, if he is good enough, great.

But I guarantee, that if this kid happens to fail, this Dou%^&bag will write the first "Failure" article about him too.  The new breed of "reporter" wants to be the first to uncover the "NEXT" big thing,  so they can sit on a pedestal on ESPN, telliing of how they "broke" this kid to the country.

This vulture will follow him and pick off his winnings or failings for some time.    The editor should be embarrassed.
