I listened to talk radio all day.  All I heard was a bunch of crying how could he do this.  The Michigan fans couldn't believe that he could walk out.   The Truth is Dick Rod forced him out.  He doesn't fit his system.  Dick Rod is glad he left, it opens up another spot.  Anyone on that team that doesn't meet up to his stantards will be made misserable.  Look what Bob Huggins did with WVU Basketball  he took what was left over from John Bumlien and took them to the sweet 16.  Dick rodwould rather get rid of players and replace them with his own.  And I understand thats really what he needs to do.  But stop all the bull about Boren he left because Dick Rod don't want him.  3 OL man have left the Michigan Program.

Hey Bretz, you have to calm down my good man.  Let go of the Dick Rod and Bumlein thing.  Beline wanted more money and stability and you can't blame him for leaving...he left on good terms and didn't lie or cheat on his way out.  RR is different and WVU is holding him accountable for the money.  RR can't take back the lies and the misleading of his former team and we have to move on.  RR knows what he did was wrong, he lives with it and it appears that others are finding out he isn't what they thought he was.  Being angry gives the morons on here fuel to get you stirred up...take care.

Well Thanks for your concern.  I want to get them stired up.  Thats my goal.  I am from michigan and have always been a Michigan Fan.  I am mad at UM for the way they handled things.  I am not mad at RR leaving.  I am glad that he left.  But he is a traitor.  And Scum.  With John  leaving it made our program Stronger.  Withh RR gone our Program will be better.

I am living back in Michigan because my Mothers Health.  I lived in Morgantown for 30 years.  Its my true home and hope to get back there some day.  RR needs to pay up and than i will be glad to end my post abut RR.  I will still hope they lose every Sat and I hope he gets run right out of Michigan.

Michigan People suck.  They are cold and all they think of is theirself.  You will never see anyone say hello to a stranger, or some one go out of their way to help a stranger.  Its a cold state in many ways.

Well everything is just my opinion so don't let it bother you   Take care

I have to reserve judgement on RR because I really don't know all the circunstances involved. I have to say that my experience is that there are good and bad people in every state. Not all people in Michigan are selfcentered and unfriendly. Meet them halfway and you will find that most of them are good people. If you meet them with a Im from WV and Uof M sucks, their coach sucks, and this state and its people suck, you aren't going to have many friends. I hope your mother gets better.

Bretz, I grew in WV, received a BS from Maryland, and now live in Hawaii.  There are many WV fans here and we all have the same feeling about RR.  I grew up close to Grant Town and played High school football against RR and still remember him and his teammates.  If you grew up in WV and in that area you had a sense of responsibility to look after others first and your word and family was stronger than most anything else.  This was the part that made all of us the angriest as well and I'm done w/ it.  I wouldn't have done what he did, but nevertheless he makes his own choices and has to live w/ them.

On to better things, WV has gotten 2 verbal commits from some pretty good current high shcool juniors that will be coming in next year and the futrue of WV football looks good as well as the BB team.  Better days are ahead.

Im a penn state fan here.  Maizerulz I agree with you.  I had to read that part again where he said the lineman didnt like running up to the line of scrimmage all the time.  Just get your self in better shape is what he should do.  Im not sure what he means by the family atmosphere is gone.  You are right if he cant handle the work he should leave.  I dont even know if he is a pro prospect but what he said will not look good if I was the NFL scouts

"The Truth is Dick Rod forced him out.  He doesn't fit his system.  Dick Rod is glad he left, it opens up another spot."

in Justin Boren's case, i think it was just a case of work ethic clashes. please don't buy for a minute that RR would run his most experienced lineman off the team because he didn't "fit his system". UM's looking at running with traditional drop-back passers for a spread option offense for crying out loud

but thank you for all your concern over Michigan's future. i often stay awake at night wondering what sour WVU fans are thinking.

Maize, I wrote on another post about the UM fans finding excuses for every aspect of poor performance or negative issues w/ the UM football program.  You're doing it as well...you UM fans never stop making excuses about your mediocre program.  I've never been a UM hater as much as I am since the many ignorant posts from UM fans about Carr, Boren, Mallett, Manningham, and the situation w/ RR.  You and your cohorts brag about the talent UM gets every year and then when the talent decides to leave, the talent should have never been there in the 1st place.  Tell the UM faithful 2 things: 1) make up your minds about who is good and who isn't before they arrive/leave Ann Arbor and 2) tell them your football program doesn't matter anymore and probably won't for some time to come.

Prediction:  Illinois is going to start whippin' your asses on a regular basis...get used to it!

and as I wrote on the same post you where you were spouting this bitter, jaded, sour and jealous nonsense about Illinois "owning" UM:

"um....yeah. because they've done such a good job at that so far.

Michigan's second string QB and RB, along with a severely banged up Henne beat the Illini in their home. you know, that same team that went into Columbus and beat the Buckeyes?"

you're pitiful, Staphinfx. you've turned into a Michigan stalker. you've been living on the UM message boards giving off baseless hatred on a program you know nothing about. you're more concerned with the Wolverines than the Mountaineers. i personally could give a rat's @$$ about WVU and the future of their program. i just concentrate on the team i root for and leave it at that. you should do the same.

Realfootballfan, you finally figured it out...I was never a Big 10 or UM hater until the posts from the UM and UW fans started coming in about the RR situation, the talent UM gets, and how good UW's BB team is.  The rest of the country believes the opposite except for a number of you up north.  People outside Michigan and Wisconsin get to a point where it becomes so nauseating there is little choice to be anything other than a UM and UW hater.

These aren't UM message boards either.  You won't see me on your UM websites.  When the ignorant UM fans get on here and start their one-sided posts then it needs to be responded to.

Beating the Illini this year was probably your last time for a while.  You have to know any team can win at any time and one win is not an indication of that team being better...they were better on that day.

To me, it sounds like this kid really said, " I am out of shape, and dont like being told so, and I cant run this offense.  But, since I was here last year, I should get a free pass".

What if this fatsack would have had the nuts to make it to the NFL, would he whine about the family values of his new coaching staff??   No, he would bust his ass, or look for a new job.

Well, to me, this looks like a good sign, cuz he wanted it the way it used to be, which included meltdowns every year lately, and losing to Ohio State.    So, maybe this is a good thing coming.   The lineman's jabs at leaving are a sign of immaturity, and his own softness.

well, we are all entitled to our opinions, no matter how far off base they may be. i don't know how Wisconsin or their BB team got into this debate about Justin Boren leaving Michigan. i was happy for them. The Badgers are not a team that usually has outstanding play from their hoops program. to make it as far as thay did in the tourney is an accomplishment. i don't think you'll find too many "people outside of Michigan and Wisconsin" who loathe the Badgers. now UNC, Duke and Kentucky on the other hand are hated by everyone but fans of those teams. thats a better example. to become a Wisky BB hater is a choice you made on your own.

a WVU fan started another thread about Michigan football that doesn't involve the lawsuit against RR. it doesn't matter if it was posted on the UM boards or not; its a UM subject that doesn't involve WVU in any capacity. after that, its fair game for UM fans to "start their one-sided posts". you're complaining about something you started.

as for Illinois, it would be wise for you to do some actual research on the Wolverine/Illini series before posting. UM is better than Illinois, period. not a diss, its a fact. everyone marvels at them because of this past season. yes, they beat OSU at home and made it to a BCS game. but they had also just come off a 2-win season. in fact, they were at the bottom of the Big 10 next to Northwestern for the last few years. Zook can recruit his rear off, i'll give the Illini that. and they are the most improved team in the conference. but they are a long way away from owning the Wolverines in any capacity. they were "better on that day" like they have been nearly every game of the series.

it seems pretty obvious that you don't know anything about the Big 10, you just hate Michigan(and now, strangely, Wisconsin). your posts don't make sense. you haven't had any positive things to say about WVU. you know, that team you root for and love? you don't even mention them. you just get on here to declare you hate Michigan and make ridiculous predictions. grow up, my friend.

Real,

I thought I might see a better post from you this time around and you started out doing well.  You UM fans continue to do the same thing over and over...talk about the past things you've accomplished on the football field.  We know about owning the Illini in the past, but my post was about the Illini getting ready to turn the tables on your program.  Ron Zook is a good coach, Illinois has good athletes, and they are up and coming.  My prediction is they will start owning you on a regular basis...the game won't be as easy as it once used to be.

The rest of your post is what you believe and there is no sense in stating what has already been stated...you have your opinion and I'll have mine.

WVU had the same problems when RR came to town.  Players who wanted to be coddled and not run their butts off quit and the fans were peeved.  His first season was a disaster but the school stayed with their commitment, RR got White and Slaton and the rest is history.  Many of us nev
