the greatest pr sports franchise -- i hope you're talking about the packers, and even so, thats a homeristic comment that most wont agree with
no, i was talking about the bucks..........duh

greatness can be defined in many ways for a sports franchise, but the only ones IMO that can legitemately be defined as greater than the Packers are the Yankees and Cowboys.

top notch Athletics -- you're better than anywhere in canada, i'll give you that much, otherwise, i'd say you're about average with the rest.
the badgers are about average with the rest? the big sports at UW (fball, bball, hockey) are head and shoulders above average. maybe you just dont follow college sports. good luck finding a tri-fecta of major sports programs (some schools would be baseball instead of hockey) that have had more success than Wisconsin over the last decade. Ohio State (and their hockey is weak), Florida, and maybe one or two others.

beer -- miller doesn't cut it for me... too watery
notice i didnt limit it to miller. there is much more than miller.

lakes -- cool?
your illini brethren seem to think so.

no highway tolls -- you only beat out a few states there my friend
guess why i included this?

Merc. Marine -- que?
boat engines. the best boat engines.

Chris Farley -- i'll give you that one... loved the guy... but let me add that a few SNL favorites have made their ways out of the chicago-land area too!
IMO Farley is easily the funniest SNL cast member of all time.

hockey a major college sport?....

actually, yes, it is a major college sport. at least at certain schools it is. how many D1 basketball programs average 13,000+ fans at every home game?

http://www.uscho.com/stats/attendance.php

wisconsin is probably the only university without a baseball team....

and you forgot Harley

good call
that is sad, indeed. but even if there were baseball, hockey would never be lower than baseball on the totem pole.

Getting back to the point...

Final Cubs 10 Brewers 10

Niether team used many of their rostered pitchers at all or starters after the 5th. Net result= A nothing game to close out Arizona

3 more days until it counts for both the Brewers and Cubs

Early Forecast for Monday-High of 50 low of 35, rain early. Cooler near the lake

Look for me in the stands *LOL*

Badge's post was about the success of the UW football, basketball, and hockey teams over the last decade. So is your idiotic post insinuating that the decade of success these three teams have had was erased because the basketball team lost tonight?  I'm curious to know who all these teams are whose top 3 sports programs have so much more success than UW over the last decade that you don't consider them "top notch"   Please enlighten me.

hey, buddy, don't throw a hissy fit over the whole thing... calm those nerves... deep breathes... dry those tears.... and realize that University of Wisconsin does not make Wisconsin a divine state... the florida gators are more impressive with their recent football and basektball championships in the past few years... they share more success than UW has as of late.... and if we're honestly talking about any state that produces the best college basketball teams, it is hard to argue against NC.

Sorry I may have over reacted a bit by calling your post idiotic. It's just that I have a low tolerance for stupid people. My apologies.  Nice job coming up with one school who has had recent success in football and basketball by the way.

and you said i couldn't do it.... tell me what kind of success the badgers have had lately anyways... i cant recall any recent championship trophies... and im talking real championship trophies, not winning the Big 10 or anything b/c then we'd have to consider Pennsylvania elite b/
