Can you name some milestones some players could/ might reach this season?

here's a couple:

Manny needs 9 hrs. for 500

Sheffield needs what, 20? ( for 500)

Griffey needs ? to reach 600

Smoltz  is closing in on 3000 K's. What he needs to reach it I hva eno idea.. Braves fans??

and last but not least R. J. needs 16 wins to reach 300

any others?

all i can help you with are some yankee potential milestones bucky

Jeter needs 5 homers for 200 (if you can call that a milestone), and 144 hits for 2,500

Mariano needs 13 appearances to reach 800 and 47 innings for 1000 IP in his career

Giambi needs 36 homers for 400 (not impossible being that he hit 37 just 2 seasons ago)

Abreu needs 4 stolen bases for 300 in his career

Wang needs 73 more strikeouts to reach 300 for his career


Ok, maybe the last one wasn't such a big milestone, but it is for him

How about Mets and yankee fans breaking the records for most fans arrested? Seeing as the drunks will be attempting to tear the place down any and every chance they get just to get a piece of memorabilia as both stadiums go bye bye.

ha, ha,... well that last game at yank stadium vs. Balt is costing some fans over $15,000 and it might not be the best time to rip up a seat to take home if their in the playoffs.. same as a Met fan

I had to settle for 33 bricks from the ole' Boston Garden when they tore it down and that was a chore because the cops weren't allowing anyone to take them :(

Hanley Ramirez!  30 homeruns 50 stolen bases.  Only Barry Bonds and Eric Davis have ever done it.  1 homer shy last year.
