stlrsxfan,

You have made me laugh like I haven't in awhile. Keep hammering the 'Northern Hosers' they got it coming.

Better grammar, if you're any indication.

Canada rocks.  I've said it once, I've said it a thousand times.

Plus, I'm way smarter than you dolts so my opinion carry's more weight.

I don't think anyone can argue that Canadians don't have a good sense of humor (Jim Carey, Mike Meyers etc.), but I'd like to respond to the less funny and more mean spirited posts.

Canada followed the States wholeheartedly into Afghanistan immediately after 9/11. And we are not just opening and closing the camp gates for the marines. Canadian sniper teams twice broke the long distance sniper kill record while serving with U.S Army units (2657 yards) and received 5 Bronze Stars from the U.S. for their actions in Operation Anaconda. To date Canada has suffered 81 fatalities in Afghanistan, the third highest rate of combat fatalities of Allied forces( four of those fatalities occured when a gung-ho American F-16 pilot, against air controller orders dropped laser guided bombs on Canadian positions). A significant number considering the size of our country and military. Even considering that, Canada has committed to stay in the most dangerous part of the country for the next 3 years. After all that, we are considered by most Americans as unneighborly and even cowardly because we chose to not follow you, thankfully, into the huge mess in Iraq.

As f*&^ed up as you may think we are and as F*&%ed as we know you are....we're the best friends each other have. So I'd gladly share a Molson's and Sam Adams while watching the Jay's suck again this year. "nuff said, eh?"

Typical.

The 49th parallel is like a one way mirror. Canadians look down and see all things America - both good and bad. Americans look up - see themselves - and turn back around.

that's because Americans by and large are arrogant SOBs with a superiority complex.  I know I am an American and all, but I still have to call it like I see it.

I see nothing wrong with Canada, it's politics and choices, and certainly nothing wrong with it's culture and heritage.  It's physically beautiful with the Maritimes and the arctic.  Most Americans who have a 'problem' with Canada are just uneducated dolts.  Which is why you see alot of people here posting anti-Canadian garbage.

(Plus their side of the Niagra is better)

Canada is like your attic. Every so often when you go up there, you're reminded of all that cool stuff you forgot about.

Bravo, Hamiltor.  That's a classic.

All's i know is, when young US college students go backpacking in Europe, they sew Canadian flags on their backpack so they won't be treated poorly, but it doesn't work because Euros can tell the difference immediately.

stridoo, was "dolt" on your word of the day crap paper? You've used it twice and I didn't think it was possible but you actually sounded dumber the second time. Is it 1890 were you live?
