His SEC list sucks.  I took my own SEC players since he left 3 of our OL starters off  the list.

Mawae - C

Fanaca and Andrews - G

McNeil and Clifton - T

Now Defensive front 7 I can go 4-3 or 3-4

4-3

Seymour, Haynesworth, Henderson or Stroud, Abraham or Burgess

Dansby, Willis, Washington or Witherspoon.  (I can also play Ryans and move Willis outside)

3-4

Seymour, Haynesworth, Henderson

Dansby, Willis, Ryans, Washington

I can go nickle or dime and bring in good CB.  I could put a 4-1 with my DL and Willis put 4 CB in the game, and Big 10 still couldn't run on my defense.

Please show me what the Big 10 front 7 is going to look like.

The list he posted w/ the Big 10 front 7 even against your selections would be domination up front by the Big 10.

I look at that list, I see a bunch of 4 - 3 DE's who are better against the pass than run.  I assume Kampaman and Ogunleye would be the starters.  Who is going to play DT out of that list.  Castillo is the only one I can think of.  That means you are playing a 3-4 with Castillo at the nose and pass rushers at DE.  Are you going to try and play Will Smith at another DT?

Hawk is the only good Inside LB, but you are having to play a 3-4 with Castillo at NG or play Castillo and Will Smith or another DE in a 4-3. Vrabel, Peterson, Phillips, and Okeafor are all outside players.

Meanwhile, I have 2 All Pro gaurds, 2 pro bowl tackles, and an excellent center blocking in the middle and one of the best FB in the NFL as a lead blocker.  I can go 2 TE and make you take the only strength of your defense, CB, off the field.

OK SEC fans, I see a lot of crying, moaning, and bitching about players left off the list. I did NOT leave off good players to make the Big 10 look good, either I forgot to list them or I just forgot them totally. And whats all this love for Lito Sheppard. Yes he is good but I still like Sheldon Brown better (Im a Cowboy fan so I KNOW he is better) and with the DBs I listed, he would not even get a lot of time on the field. Also there are a lot of Big 10 guys left off too!!! Lets list them shall we

Mark Tausher OL Wisconsin

Derrick Mason WR Michigan State

Paul Posluzny LB Penn St

Joe Jurevicius WR Penn St

Robaire Smith DL Michigan St

Ian Gold LB  Michigan

Owen Daniel TE Wisconsin

Ben Utecht TE Minnesota

Trent Green QB Indiana

Bernard Pollard S Purdue

Akin Ayodele LB Purdue

Antoine Randle-El WR Indiana

Kyle Brady TE Penn St

Chris Baker TE Michigan St

Larry Foote LB Michigan

Mike Goff OL Iowa

Shane Olivea OL Ohio State

Mushin Muhammed WR Michigan St

Ray Edwards DE Purdue

Amani Toomer WR Michigan

Bobby Engram WR Penn St

Bryant Johnson WR Penn St

Im sure SEC fans can make a list too. Every year after the NFL Draft the SEC and Big 10 usually finish 1-2 in players drafted. You could argue that if you combined the SEC and Big 10 players and had them play the rest of the leagues (ACC,Big East,Pac 10, Big XII and all others) the SEC and Big 10 combined would beat the crap out of them!!

If we are basing this on their college careers then you have to add Wisconsin RB- Ron Dayne. He was a bust in the NFL, but in college he was a beast and is the NCAA Div 1 all time leading rusher.

I still want a Big 10 fan to show me who their starting Front 7 on Defense is going to be.

I didn't think you left SEC players off the list because you wanted to make the SEC look bad or make the Big 10 look better, just that you aren't as familiar with SEC players, so you accidentally left many of the best players off the list.  But don't compare the Big 10 players you left off to

Allen Fanaca - 5 time All Pro, 7 time pro bowler

Kevin Mawae - 6 straight pro bowls from 1998 - 2004

Ronnie Brown - having best season of any RB before his injury

Jamal Lewis - top 5 rusher in the NFL, and 1 time 2,000 yard back

Patrick Willis - NFL leading tackler and defensive rookie of the year

Only Paul Posluzny from that list is someone you would consider starting on a Big 10 alumni team.

Once again, I'm not crying because you left them off the list.  I just felt I needed to add some players to the list, especially since I planned on starting them.
