I've been a Yankee fan my whole life, and I am a BIG fan of the rivalry. But I don't understand jumping someone because of the team that they root for. It's fun to talk trash to one another in the bar, but there is no reason to get physical, no matter which team you root for.

You Pinheads and Bosux should route for a real team Like the Orioles. All you have to do is re-live the 70's in your mind and worship bobblehead dolls of Cal Ripken. You don't have to worry about getting beat up because you have no rivalries. Our fans are still trying to track down Jeffery Mayer though.

Although it is classless and I do not agree with a group of Red Sox fans beating up a Yankees fan for just warring a Yankees hat. If you think that a group of Yankees fans have never beat up someone for warring a Red Sox hat or a Mets hat you are nuts. I have been to Yankee stadium 5 times and I have had beer thrown on me, I have been spit at, I have been called every name under the sun, and I have had my hat thrown over the railing. A buddy of mine was arrested for having his son hold his beer while he tied his shoe and the officer even told him you should think about what you are warring and where you are going next time. So if you think it is just Red Sox fans that are classless you are nut, both sides have their true fans and both sides have their punks.

Atleast in Boston they let you leave the hospital, i watch a redsox fan get stomp like the Giants did to brady after a game in Yankee Stadium. When the paramedics arrived, he was not moving, not breathing and all this for two teams who could careless about what happens outside the stadiums. Dudes need to grow up, it's a baseball rivalry not a New York City vs Boston population rivalry. Makes no sense.....
