Hammered is a bit of an overstatement. He didn't give up a single extra base hit, just 5 GB singles. That's the peril of being a sinkerballer, sometimes, they find the holes.

Sorry to disappoint Buck, but he had his bullpen today, and felt no pain at all. He'll start Saturday in Miami, then he's pitching Thursday against Toronto.
Beyond that, I'd have to see the game to know if he was really getting roughed up or had a bunch of bleeders find holes.
It would help him if he had a better defensive infield, of course, but he's one guy that I think you can count on to give you solid production over the course of the year.
