It's Santana that needs to step up. Weaver and Garland will be fine. But we need Santana to remember how good he is and forget about last season. It's time for him to put up or shut up. Saunders will fill the #5 hole just fine. Hopefully Lackey kicks the nagging tricep pull and gives us his usual best. If so, we still beat the M's by 5 games. They just don't have any depth on that team if they get hurt, and every team gets hurt. And all you Bedard fans can stop and think about the fact that he's never pitched more than 170 innings in a season. Good luck down the stretch.
