The message board is called, "HAHAHA West Virginia read this bamaz." It goes a little bit like that. They called VT fans white trash. They called MD fans a bunch of crap. Let's go!!!!
Thats not a shocker there terp fan ... VT has the last laugh when it comes to WVU ... we own the black diamond trophy and we beat them in final meeting up in Morganhole, WV w/ their precious Pat White and Steve Slaton .. let them run there mouth the scoreboard does the talking for VT
Actually the terp fan was on our site and started running his chops about how MD was going to beat WVU in 2010, yeah I said 2010,a game not this coming season but the next season. VT does have the edge lately and I miss the rivalry but honestly how is a MD fan going to say anything. I forgot they still had a football team. He tried to talk smack for LSU, VT, and his pathetic turtles. It is a sad day when a fan has to brag about another team do to his own being so horrible. Maybe we'll meet in a bowl game. good luck.
I got to go with Bwineboy on this one, this is the same fan that started the thread about VT football being over. I have no love lost for WVU BUT this guy is a jackass and should just be ignored.
I'd love to see some of these BCS conferences sack up and play local state rivalry games every year. I'd much rather see VT go up against UVA, WVU, MD, UT, Kentucky, South Carolina every year or so rather than the cupcakes we get every year. I know I would feel a lot better going into the post season if we beat some of the better talent rather than whipping up on MAC and I-AA teams every year.
I know it will never happen because of the almighty $$, but I can hope can't I?
It's not the almighty dollar that drives these other teams away. It's the almighty "we don't want a loss out of conference" thing. We are not the little engine that could anymore. We are one of the big boys, and now we need to go after some bigger fish (Michigan, Ohio State, Florida, USC, etc;).
I do, however, wish we would start back with the WVU rivalry. I miss the sight and smell of burning trailer park furniture.
BELIEVE all you want but you stand a snowballs chance at beating WVU or VT. I would like to see you beat VT but it won't happen. Your team just isn't in the same category as us. Good luck because you will need all you can get if you want to take down one of the big boys.
