You wanna compare the CCG scores then fine. Let's compare the last to regular season scores seems to me I remember UGA barely losing in there last trip to Baton Rouge '03 17- 10, seems I also remember that yes ABSOLUTE BLOWOUT in Athens in '04 46 - 18. So please there as even as can be on the who beat who by more arguement. But like I said let's live in the now and not the was, because the way I see it is LSU has another thrashing coming to them but I guess will have to wait til October.

Touche' my friend, but you have to admit things are looking up and it would take alot of injuries to put them in a situation where they were in real trouble. This team is deep, but I know worse things have happened. Can't wait for the season! Go Dawgs!

Seriously though, LSU is going to be inexperienced on D .............but that's alot to deal with when everyone is already gunning for you because your the defending NC.
Can you ask Richt and the gang not to run it up on us, a team with class will be happy with just beating the spread by more than a touchdown.

Hey I see that Randy Shannon, Charlie Weis, Tommy Tuberville, Jack Siedlecki (Yale) and Mark Richt are headed to Southwest Asia in May to give clinics and meet with the troops. Good deal for everyone involved. I know that when I was over there we had Pete Carroll and several others come over and it was really great....plus a good morale boost for every CFB fan, especially the ones who are fans of those schools.

No running the ball to set up play action is running the ball to get the safeties to move closer to the line so that the deep ball is there. It is saying we are going to run then run then when you start to look for the run we are going to pass.
I know...who are you arguing with? This is what I have been saying the whole time. UGA runs so they can pass more effectively. You and I said the same thing just in different words. Auburn's play action is to tight ends, screens and short passes. UGA is more likely to heave it....hence more of a passing team.
And when UGA has split carries it has been between three backs not two.So do a lot of teams. Auburn had Cadillac Williams, Ronnie Brown and Brandon Jacobs in 2003, and hell even Tre Smith. This year we have Brad Lester, Ben Tate, Mario Fannin, and maybe more. I guarantee one of them will get 1000 yards. Just my opinion.
I know it isn't the days of old where our three plays where 34 left, 34 right 34 up the middle but it is still only 2-3 less carries than AU which is known as a ground it out team. Where is the difference?Good point. You tell me because this is what I am asking you. I just find it odd that with all the backs that come to UGA why only two of them have hit the 1000 yard mark. I mean, if it wasn't for Musa Smith Richt would have only had one, which was Moreno last year. 7 years? With Ware, Lumpkin, Brown and all those quality backs? Where is the difference? If it is only a few carries difference why not the stats? It must be in the game plan and how much time you spend on running the ball.

It was inevitable for LSU to win the conference, but getting into the championship was luck. I'm glad they went and won, but most of that talent is gone now, just like with all of Florida's senior leadership in 2006.

Did I say that? LSU will still be good next year and will probably compete against Auburn for the West title, but the defense is losing many experienced players (Dorsey, Steltz, Highsmith) as is the offense (Flynn, Hester, Doucet). I never said they wouldn't be a good team - they have a lot more competition than other conferences and it takes experienced players to win national championships, which is why LSU won for 2003 and 2007.

It definetly will be short lived this upcoming season, mark it down You'll be out of the NC hunt by mid October and yes you will loose to UGA. By the way I guess the three strikes and you're out rule doesn't apply to your starting QB when you have nobody to replace him. Tell Ryan I'll take 50 on black #7 at the roulette table.

NC game was easy, I tell you the hard part was winning the West. We lost to teams that were alledgely worse than us and beat teams that were alledgely better than us. Feel fortunate that things just fell your way last year. That Sugar Bowl man...now that's a big friggin whoopty doop.
