It's not that they struggled against a pressure defense, all but the duke game where really close games. They lost by most 5 points in all the games but the Duke one. So I wouldn't say they struggled.

by the way the teams you stated do not have the bench that Kansas has. Thoes team only have 2 to 3 people that can score in bouble digits. Kansas has at least 5 to 7 people who can score in double digits and 4 of them are doing it nightly.
I know KS has an entire team filled with Superman clones and all but every one of those teams has a deep bench with players who have scored in double digits throughout the year. You have five not seven averaging in the ten ppg range as do all the teams I mentioned with the exception of Michigan State and Texas who both have a player with a 20 ppg average. Do a little homework and stop embarrassing yourself.

thank you for the correction. Rather than spout off reacting, I should have reviewed material and then made my argument. My point was accurate, but I did indeed misstate when the injury occurred, and I am not too big to admit when I err.
And something else I wish I had mentioned and did not was that Trevon Hughes was absent from the Texas game when we beat them on their home court. Maybe someone brought this up later, but I do not recall seeing anyone mention it up to this point.

At Platteville, Bo Ryan became the premiere coach in Division III basketball. From 1984 until 1999 Ryan's Platteville team posted a 352-76 overall record, a winning percentage of 82%. Ryan guided the UW-Platteville Pioneers to four national championships (1991, 1995, 1998, 1999). He also won eight Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference championships and set a Division III scoring defense record in 1997 with his team only allowing 47.5 points per game.
A review of Bill Self's complete coaching record reveals no Championships on any collegiate level.
So Bo Ryan does not have to give an inch to Bill Self when the question is who has been the most successful college basketball coach. The answer is Bo Ryan in a landslide. Bill Self is a very good coach, but when it comes to Championships he is no Bo Ryan. Bo Ryan has four championships, Bill Self has zero championships, nuff said :)
And I would argue that Self is a better recruiter than Bo (look at that Illinois team he abandoned), but a less successful coach thus far in his career. In 20 years it might be another story, but today? No contest.

I gotta say, I would LOVE to see your response if they meet in the elite 8 and Wisconsin wins. Actually, with the way wisconsin has still been taking heat from experts/fans, I would love to see the bandwagon jumpers come along for the ride.

It truly makes me laugh when people try and go with the theory that 'Wisconsin won't be able to keep up with the tempo set by Kansas, epscially Butch." Look at the WSU and UNC game, granted last I checked UNC was up by 7 WSU has forced UNC to play their game which is exactly what the Badgers can and will do to Kansas when they make that match up (no I'm not overlooking Davidson but they have no one outside Curry who will be shut down by Flowers). The difference between WSU and UW is Wisconsin's ability to work the halfcourt offence better than WSU, yes UNC is playing some good D, but as even Bob Knight said on ESPN earlier today, "it's a lot harder to speed a team than to slow a team down" Can't wait.

Listen yall, as a badger fan living in big twelve country i can tell you i have seen kansas and texas play alot. they are great teams however they dont play together nearly as well as the badgers and i am not being a homer. and WSU is not nearly the team that wisconsin is either and they made carolina slow down there potent 100 points per game offense too so you know what they can and will do it to kansas and i cant wait to see the game cause its going to be one hell of a game and i know i will enjoy it no matter who wins.

you seem to be forgetting that Name/Program clout plays a factor. Sure some teams seem like they are overrated or getting more credit than they deserve. But lets take Kansas and Wis this year. Kansas has been looked at all year as a team that very well could win it all, not to mention the fact that they always have a top ten and often a top 5 team. What something like that is going to bring to you is teams stepping up there game against them more so than against others. When you are at the top, teams want to try that much harder than any other game to take you down, so the competitive level from even teams you should be beating is higher. WI beating Texas in Texas and Kansas losing in Texas? For one that was rivalry game for Kansas and the WI Texas certainly wasn't. Then throw in the fact that Kansas is Kansas program wise. You can't tell me an already strong Texas team wasn't jacked up to holy hell for that game (which i highly doubt they brought nearly the intensity to an out of conference, underated team such as WI).
As much as i like Kansas, there was a stretch there where they lost those three games where they frankly just didn't look like they showed up. Don't know if that was just one of those periods, or had to do with the Stuart and Jackson's relatives being shot and killed on the same day and the team and players not exactly into the game the same way. I thought Duke was a bit overrated as well, but to be fair they are Duke. Once again that name is gonna bring more fire from the competition. Then you get into which conference is better (Big 12 this year). It is a very likely matchup that we will see KU and WI. Just don't see WI taking down a Kansas team that essentially has 7 starters that are all NBA bound, who play a similar style but out match in every position, plays team ball the way they do and have been steam rolling since the last handful of games of the season.
last, it's true Kansas hasn't had to face much stiff competition so far in the tournament. But with their season they earned that right being a 1 seed. And to their credit, they have been doing what a 1 seed SHOULD be doing against teams like that. Beating them...Handily.
Let's hope for a KU WI showdown just for the fact that it will be a great game for all to enjoy.
