That's right. Only one team beat the Lawson-led Heels this season, and that was Maryland. Watch the game: it wasn't about Maryland's defense, it was the way they ran their offense. They were patient, their passing was crisp and their sets worked beautifully. UNC couldn't disrupt them, couldn't stop them from getting what they wanted -- so the heels couldn't get out into the open floor often enough. Carolina ended up playing half court -- not because of MD's D, but because of MD's O. That's the way to beat the Heels. Not an easy task for anyone, but it's the only way to do it.
