There are very few games left. The Bruins have an okay schedule, but the teams beneath them have hard opponents. Sabers face the 3 teams above them in the divison. The Caps i think has the easiest, but they played 2 more games then the Bruins. I personally think the B's have the 2nd easiest, but they have to win those games.

I dont think the B's can reach 6th anymore, it belongs to the Rangers or the Sens, but if we play Montreal in the playoffs(1st plays 8th, or 2nd plays 7th), i rather we not even make the playoffs. The other night they had no D, all their shot were from the blueline and they still can't score on the power play. Not to mention we can't get a lucky goal. Also, in all my years of watching the B's, i never seen the Bruins captain get boo's in his own rink. That was sad.

I dont know, what do you guys think the Bruins chances are of making the playoffs? Currently i say 50/50.

I do not know if you have looked at the Bruins schedule for the rest of this season because they have a tough schedule. 1 more against Montreal 2 against Toronto 2 against Ottawa 2 against Buffalo and hey lets throw 1 against New Jersey in for good measure. That is not easy by any means.Wahington has a cake walk to finish out the season. the only thing they have to worry about is Sammy and the canes 2 times. As far as playing the habs in the first round, the bruins have lost every game to them in the regular season before and then swept the habs out of the playoffs.I thought they would have come out of the slump by now but it looks like they could be on the way to finishing the season in 11th place in the east.they need to beat buffalo and at least get to over time against toronto and ottawa to have a chnce at the playoffs.if it comes down to the last game of the season against buffalo i just might have to make the trip down to Boston to cheer them on.

I agree 100% The schedule is not an easy road for the B's especially the way they are scoring right now! I also thought that the slump would be long behind them by now! They have dug themselves a deep hole and its time to start climbing out! I'll be at the Buffalo game on Mar.30th in Buffalo!!! I really hope the B's hand Buffalo a thorough and complete a$$kicking!!!!!I love being at an opponents arena and handing them a loss especially buffalo since I live here!!!!First thing first, Lets take care of business tonite against the Habs !!!! Go Bruins!!!

Well i see it differently. The B's have to only worry about washington. Buffalo keeps losing player to injuries and the B's are looking like they are getting heathlier. Although i doubt it, reports are that Bergeron, Alberts and Manny could be back before the end of the season.

As far as the slump, i think that if they get them back, that would give them a huge boost. Maybe enough to make the playoffs and go a round or two deep into them. Buffalo isnt good and the B's had somewhat succes against them this year. so thats 2 possible wins, the Maple Leafs arent good at all. They have been on a winning streak of late, but that isnt going to last much longer i think.

So as far as Ottawa, the Habs and the Devils. yeah those are the toughest teams in the East but their not unbeatable. Well for the Bruins maybe Montreal is, but not ottawa and Jersey. I think that the 2 games advantage over washington and the 8 possible points between the Maple leafs and Sabers, the B's have a good shot. Thats why i gave them a 50/50 chance.

Well they got one point on the road against Montreal and that will go a long way at this point.I have to say that you are wrong about the Sabers and Leafs. The Bruins play in what most people consider to be the toughest division to play in. It does not matter how bad a team is in this division, when they play another team from within the division they are step it up and play hard on most occasions.Every team is beatable but the Bruins division is tough and as far as the Devils go, I have one word for you....Marty.

Do u honestly believe that the B's have the toughest divison in the WHOLE NHL. Thats a joke, There are 4 teams(out of 5) in the Atlantic divison that if healthly can win the East. Philly has been like the Bruins(injuried all year) and thats why their where they are. If u remember they were first in their divison a month or two ago.  Thats without a doubt the best divison. Also, dont forget the Penguins are without the best player in the world right now. when they get him back they will be a lot better(what team wouldn't).

I dont see why u think that teams that are in a rebuilding year(SABERS and Maple Leafs) wouldnt want a high draft pick. They are putting on an act, and before you know it, both of them will give up and fight for the better pick in the draft. what makes you think that the Sabers and Maple Leafs will beat the Bruins or any team for that matter once they are clearly out of the playoff picture. Yeah, they will play hard, because most of the players will be looking for a job next year. Its a business and players care more about the money then winning. Unless u have a player that loves his team and is a vetern, that the only way he'll take a pay cut.

As far a Marty, year hes leagues best goalie, but whos to say that he starts that game. Did you see how well he played the other night. 4 goals and faces 15 shots, ummm i wonder if hes getting tired. its coming down to the end of the year and he played 70 games this year. they need to get Weeks(Devils back-up goalie) to play some games, and what better team to have him play against them the Bruins( a team that score 2 goals a game). He's not likely to get any playing time in the playoffs, but Weeks cant go into the playoffs being rusty(if hes needed because something happens to Marty). I'm not saying that hes going to play against the Bruins but theres a strong chance he will.

Only time will tell what happens. As long as the B's make the playoff and dont play Montreal in the first round, I'm happy.

Crosby is not even the best player on his team, so you lost that point. And incase you have never noticed , most players drafted into the NHL are a few years away from playing in the league. The game with the Devils will have Marty in net. They are looking to win thier division and trying to lock up the top spot in the East, The last thing they will do is lay down against a team that is looking for the last spot in the playoffs and give that team momentum should they meet in the first round. The Bruins division is the toughest division for teams to play within, not the toughest for the entire league to play against.Back to your best player in the world, I would have to ask if you have ever heard of a guy named Ovechkin?Look at what he has to work with in Washington and then ask yourself if Crosby or Malkin is the #2 player in the world. When you say that teams are in rebuilding years you have to include the Bruins. They will be rebuilding for the next couple of years before they have a strong core group. But none of this will matter if the Bruins don't start winning in regulation.

Its clear we aren't going to agree on this. Crosby is the face of the NHL, Ovechkin isn't. Yeah, Ovechkin is having a good year, better then Crosby (Probably because hes injuried) but to say Malkin is better then Crosby, thats funny. Malkin's been playing good of late, but he'll never be better then Crosby. Answer this; Crosby and Malkin are both centers, then why is Crosby the first line starting center on his team, the All-star team's first line starting center, the all-Canada team first line starting center and MALKIN isn't. The answer; Crosby is the face of the NHL, and hes better then Malkin.

The question of who's the best player in the NHL is going to be a debate between Crosby and Ovechkin. Everyone has their own opinion of who the better player. It comes down to do if you like a goal scorer or a passer.

What does the "toughest divison to play within" mean? The B's divison has 2 teams with a strong chance to win the East, but yet that divison is the toughest. What are you talking about. The way the NHL is set up is you play the other teams in your divison more then any other teams. Therefore, the divison with Pittsburg, Jersey, Rangers, and Philly, is the toughest to play within. Your argument makes no sense what so ever. These are 4  of the top 8 teams in the EASTERN CONFERENCE PLAYOFFS.

And for Marty, did you see their schedule? They play back to back games with two games left, therefore Weeks has to get some playing time. And you have no evidence that Marty is going to play. And if he does play, so what, he isnt unbeatable.
