You represented the Patriot and DC quite well.  The box score doesn't do justice to the fight you put up.  Was listening in the car and was quite surprised TN pulled away as much as they did at the end.  6 points difference with 1:51 left is an effort deserving of praise from the other 7 Patriot League schools and fans.

Was quite scared to hear you have all but 2 seniors returning next year.  YIKES!

Congrats on your first trip to the dance, you made a splash in my mind.  Should be unforgettable for your deserving fans.

I watched the game with some buddies in DC, folks who rooted for a bunch of different teams, but everyone was going crazy for American  -- really a first for us. At the under 4 timeout, with the game very much in doubt, I looked at my buddy and said "I deeply want us to win this game, but don't let me forget that as of this moment, I'm happy. We're not getting blown out. They're putting up the 2 vs 15 seed graphics. Our boys are outhustling their boys. Markets all over the US are switching to the American game.  Everything else is house money."

It took a couple of late 3's by a horrible outside shooter (Chism) for Tennessee to put American away. Amazing to even think about.

Looking forward to next year as well -- maybe Bucknell doesn't hit that miracle shot next time around...
